Actually through the scope of a criminologist this behavior (the purposely pooping in someone’s bed) is highly disturbing and can be see as not only threatening but predatory or even sadistic. My prof talked about a burglar who would go into women’s houses to steal their panties and defecate in the bed if he knew that there was also a man living there. He explained that this behavior was not only aimed at trying to mark someone’s territory as their own but also to further violate the person’s space. It is a form of territorial and sadistic behavior.
