This video was different than normal..just testing the waters here a little bit. Would love to know your thoughts!
That was epic…❤
Tyler, I first want to say that I am not trying to lecture you. I enjoy your videos and want you to make them for years to come. I was an operation specialist in the US Navy, and have been part of search and rescue operations that have lasted for days. I didn't see an EPIRB or PLB in your list of equipment. If you had one on board, please add it to the list of your equipment. I would hate to read something bad happened to you when I could have shared info with you that could save your life in the future. No bass boat should be on any of the great lakes without an EPIRB or PLB. The great lakes are some of the worst waters in the world. Things can go bad in minutes out there. I hope this info may save a life one day. Thanks for the videos!
That was not two days ago was it lol
Love east harbor
Dangerous water? Pssshhh I kayak fish Florida swamps👌👌 for real tho, I have seen videos of those lakes getting absolutely blown out. I can imagine it gets dicey up there. Cool video style, it's different and I like it! Keep doing your other ones too tho. I've bass fished my whole life in Florida where you throw anything and then eat. But I spent the last year in Kentucky and learned quite a bit from your videos.
Good stuff! I like the actual fishing content part of the educational effort. A nice add to a video like this would be to tell us what you do to prepare/take caution in waters that scare the fire out of you when they get big. I have a few bodies of water like that in my home area that do the same to me. You look for those windows of calmness, but they are so far and few between, that you have to go when they are not perfect, so hearing what others due to prepare, and stay safe, when they are on the water like that would be helpful. Including, what is it that tells you, too much and it is time to get off the water (no matter how good the fish are biting).
Where was the dangerous water?
Really nice scenic views on the water. Even the music you used added to the viewing pleasure. A Smallmouth Bass has eluded me thus far in my fishing career. Still looking for a place near where I live (Lou KY) that I can go after them.
What drone do you use?
I haven't been on Erie yet, but I plan on fishing both Buckeye BFLs up there next year.
Love to be fishing with you! I think I would learn a lot, that is why I watch your videos. Probably a long shot but would it be possible to go fishing with you sometime. I'm in PA and hardly anyone talks about fishing in PA.
0:50 that’s big water 😳
Fun to watch you catch smallies while I have my morning coffee!
I would love to go fishing with you an learn as much as I can tips an techniques!!! Aswome video!!!
This is my kind of fishing, next time you go to Erie and want someone to go with hit me up. I live just east of Cleveland about 15 minutes from Fairport Harbor
Osu has really good research on catching smallies off bed in Lake Erie … every second matter on gobies destroying beds y on hook n hands …. Super interesting…… they can sometimes respawn and end up with fry
I like the drone footage. Follow me mode
Good stuff Tyler! Great work with the drone too! 👍
@bassfishinghq Do you ever go fishing with anyone
I spent 25 years fishing and boating Lake Erie almost every weekend, all weekend. So many stories on what that lake can deliver, from fish to storms! Many of my guests have storm encounters etched into their memories years later, and that was on large boats. I never could get used to seeing bass boats far out in the lake, SMH!
Love watching you fish man, keep doing videos like this!! I love your reviews and tips and tricks, but watching you put work on em and showing more of where and how you fish helps a lot! Keep your lines tight and your hooks sharp!!
Great job!
Nice on the rip-rap. Soon as I saw that I was like 'get that square bill out!'.
Really like this video. Awesome footage with the drone.
That was fun to watch!.. I’ve never fished for smallmouths .. but I’d love to for sure!
How big is the Lake Erie largemouth record?
Nice L bill crank at the beginning there. I used to take my 12 foot vhull out in big water and be puckered up most of the time in the wind too 😂
Great video 📹 Thank you for sharing 👍 😀
What time of year was this? What month?
My response to your question at 18:40: Yes, I want to go fishing with you right now. I'm freezing in Iowa but dreaming of catching Bass in open water.
Awesome!!! Just stinking awesome!!!!!
When you see a bass like that it is Brian
Some of those best you ever catching they are nice I really can't believe how big they are
You make the viewer feel like they are in the boat with you. The way you talk and explain everything is awesome thank you so much. Blessings and a Big Merry Christmas.
Nice to see you in Ohio. I never fished from my tracker Grizzly in lake erie because I never really knew there was a spot calm enough for me to even consider that to be comfortable to fish in, but the East Harbor looks extremely tempting. What month was this filmed in?
I enjoyed the video. You definitely picked a good day to fish Erie. I fished it twice in my life time and it get can get down right nasty. I have caught a lot of largemouth bass, but once you go fishing for small mouth, you are hooked for life. I can't wait for my next trip up north. When will you be down in Florida again? Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Erie is savage. I used to have a 20' center console and was always apprehensive about Erie I'm like a small craft warning 🧲 🤣
nice job Tyler when did you film this? summer time I assume.
When is the best time of year to come up to Erie?
I went up there on a walleye trip this past April, all I wanted to do was bass fish but I was with a group of people. If you go up there again stop by McCarthys in port clinton and get the scotch eggs, lol they're the best eggs I've ever had in my life
Dude my favorite video that you’ve done. Great job. I love seeing you fishing my spots lol
Edit: I’ve realized why the video seems so familiar. 😂 Great edit man love the fishing vlog days you’ve done.
Are you sponsored by Humminbird now? Noticed you blurred your Lowrance out lol
Love your videos and I promise I'm not trying to hate but the moment you said they were on beds I moved on. I think fisherman especially pros should leave them alone during the spawn. And really advocate for letting them breed up..
