I used A gutted out double D flashlight to make one.
Please, quickly release or dispatch the animal you’ve caught. Never, ever forget compassion towards and honoring the being that is helping you to survive. Other than that, I usually enjoy and appreciate your vids.
Basic Training shaded eye pro. Just for that, 🔪🤚 Beat your face Prite!
Outstanding video Andrew, top full of fantastic knowledge and practical application. Great work, thank you.
DOOD……………
Good stuff brother, great video.
Awesome thanks! An idea= bank line thread 5 lg swivels on it overhand figure8 in 5 foot increments place a wt at the end of your 40 ft piece using a #8 hook or larger with 100 lb riggers line . Tie in to a float or a stake. This can be a turkey/ waterfowl trotline or a catfish trotline.
Great video. Pretty cool trout line

That flare case fishing kit is the bomb! I learned a lot! Thank you!
Great Idea! I may sub that with some PVC with two threaded ends.
An outdoor survival EDC fishing kit. Cowabunga mate.!
Survival skills that everyone should have!!! I love your channel and how you provide the basics!!! Practice and patience is certainly needed especially nowadays!!! Things keep going haywire the way it looks to be heading we will all need these Survival skills in place…better to have them and not need them than to need them and not have a clue what or how to start…thanks for providing me with the motivation to keep being prepared 😉
cool
Teaching old dogs new tricks is a great skill. Andrew has this skill in spades, I am the proof. Thank you for all the effort you put into producing these great videos.

I carry a collapsible fishing rod, I even have a miniature one that works great..
I keep my gear in seperate compartments. Fire, Compass, Medical, etc.
Very cool video! Thank you for time making this video . I learned allot of new little tricks! Thank you!!!
Pretty damn comprehensive !! Very well thought out.
Great kit! Wish I had your skills Andrew. Have a good one!
👍👍👌
👍🏻
Great video but disappointed that the flare container is pretty much a non-purchase looked all over and have had no luck finding them online. Any suggestions on a place to purchase?
Ex-military, long time preparedness minded, 55 years fishing, been following you for a long minute. This kit looks golden. I have kits that I created that reflect my longer fishing experience with different items, but I would love to see you add a couple of things to this video.
NOT because anything I have to say is better, or that I think what I have is better. I added a few things from this vid to my stuff. Just for your consideration.
Self-hook reels, circle hooks (very important because you can be absent (trot lines) and don't have to set the hook) and the L-7 Bank Line primitive automatic hook method.
Mine is in a tin and all rods (cane pole or hobo) need to be harvested. I have a nested PVC pole, telescoping poles, etc., but I am looking for what you recommended, the expended handheld flare casing. Looking forward to your reply.
Another great video Andrew! Nice! Lots of ideas.
Great job, Andrew! I have to admit that I am not very skilled at fishing. Your video makes sense, even to this landlubber!
I was taught to use grenades, back in 74
Sucks to be a fish! Or a frog! I like to be the top of the food chain, some places you may not be! Great video. Google however wants to know why the hell searches for flare tubes is blowing up!
Great info, thanks! You should do the History Channel Alone challenge, you’d kill it!
I prefer the passive ways of fishing, my favourite is illegal here now but we used it a lot when i was a kid to augment the week menu. Peuren a line with several lines under it each with a hook and sinker. Put it in the water at nightfall and reel it in around two AM.
