This is the second episode of this video series, if you missed the first one you should check it out here
I have been stock piling parts and getting ready to start building this monster truck for several months now. Even though I have all the parts and I’m ready to start working, I may be in a little over my head. This episode i’ll be deconstructing the truck!!! If you have any tips or advice, I’d love to see them in the comments!!!
Thanks for watching and don’t for get to subscribe so you don’t miss a future video!

One of the best pieces of advice my father gave me having loved cars my whole like "if you love it so much – don't turn it into work because you'll end up not enjoying it" protected my passion.
Instead of squandering all that foolish money that your patrons gave you, why don't you invest in reducing your carbon foot print. Take after Wild and Wonderful for example. Your decision to build a worthless monster truck is very disappointing. You can do better than this. 🙁
Wow nice build coming along nicely 😯❤️👍🙏
Re: the fluid required for your lift… didn’t the lift kit come with instructions, do’s & don’ts? Enjoying your new channel & wishing you Good Luck! 🍀
Hi guys I’m a70 year old grandma and I love trents garage as your other channel ❤
Awesome work on the new rig buddy!!! Why didn’t you just start with building the tubed frame and then start adding things to the new tuned frame?? I would definitely think that would be much easier then trying to work backwards like you are doing
Trent sell the parts to a scrap yard and get more truck build money
Multi talented.
Making a delivery

I could throw a stone and hit mountain made vans.
Are those shocks something we shouldn't mention to your wife. Those are probably fifty percent of the budget.
Very nice jewelry for your monster truck. 😁
The under vehicle illumination helps, thanks! Enjoy the challenges.
👍👍👍
My son really wants your old wheels / tires for his 2002 taco. You wanna sell them?
If you are annoyed with how slow that hydraulic lift takes to come back down why didn't you find out before if you have the correct fluid in it? Seems to me that you are annoyed at yourself for not doing that!
Safety Glasses, Safety Glasses…. Oh and did I say SAFETY GLASSES!
Trent in my opinion you need to remove the motor. I am not a motorhead but know many.
Spray all nuts and bolts you are going to take off, days in advance with PB, it makes disassembly way easier!
I enjoy watching you taking apart your toy but I think most of the time you are speaking french or maybe German lol. I understand a few words but I am totally enjoying the videos.
Yes ATF in the lift. Drain and flush it.
Hey my friend, fetch a pretty penny with those their Cadillac converters.lol ✌️❤️❤️✌️
Get a roll cart for tools and parts, most of them have a 300 lb. load capacity!
That's very ambitious for your first build BUT everyone has to start somewhere. And if you do it wrong you can always do it again. All other takes is more of your time and a little material.
I install below and above ground lifts above's use ATF below's use mineral oil. 👉👉Call out to Heavy D Sparks please help Trent with his build.🤔🤔Tip: Trent use chains and binders or heavy 3" ratchet straps to tie down the frame to all the lift arms and please get the tall transmission lift jack for working by yourself. Don't use straps, ratchet straps, rope, chain falls, or come alongs to lower transmissions and gear boxes. Everyone has tried to use those already and failed BIG time. They won't work.
great job so far trent 👍
Your right the best thing you could do is pull the cab and bed and junk the rest. If you look in the rear lot of most any Toyota dealer they have a stack of frames. I know a few people that have had them replaced twice.
Oooh, those coilovers…can't wait to see you install those babies.
adjust the flow control on the hoist. hydraulics 101
Great job Trent! What about getting another stick to hold the back up or to use in the front to keep the truck from falling! I don't know, just asking! Thinking about the safety of it.
Hey Trent the show is great. I have one ask please wear safety glasses. Metal or dirt in the eye is no fun.
I use Fox suspension on everything, including my mountain bike. Love the remote reservoir on these
Trent, I enjoy watching both of your channels. For your lift AW32 is the most commonly used oil & recommended by most MFG's The most common causes for a lift to be going down slow like yours is cables being over tight or a restriction in the HYD system.. In some cases the sceen on the lowering valve will get clogged up with Teflon. That is an easy one to check & resolve. Depending on how cold the oil is that could be a factor however i have only noticed it affecting up speed not down. Keep up the Great WORK!
Fun to watch but please wear some safety glasses
Thanks!
Hehehe Trent as I am watching Trent's Garage for first time, I'm glad you compartmentalized it because as a single senior I enjoy Trent & Allie series BUT I gave it a look/see & not for me! Anyways tho, may I suggest that you get a $3dollar purchase plastic eyewear safety & protection PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!! To the right audience, I'm sure your blog will be a super fun success! Good Fortune…now I'm back to T&A&Leo&Frank&Lika 🥰💚
Build shelves, a lot of them, in fact, line your garage walls with shelves, as many as you can build and then save all the steal. Knuckles, solid pipe, tube, all the nuts and bolts, buy a chem bath amd clean all of it. buy a plasma welder/cutter. if your prefabbing your gonna want a selection of junk you can cut up, weld up, grind, and have on hand. You might even want to get a second truck you can pull parts from or a completely different car that has things in it that you want to add that the truck doesn't have. Things like fender, which are are sheet metal, sometimes, can be saved just for the pieces you can cut from it. get some chain, and hooks and start hanging things that are lighter from the rafters. Make the space your gonna need.
Glad you are into all different stuff. I like your style of videos and I enjoying this and your other vlog. Good luck , long haul
What I would do Trent is put a couple of ratchet straps to your ramp out riggers to stop it moving
Great episode! You may want to consider looking on eBay or Facebook Marketplace for a 20' shipping container (Conex) to put next to the garage to use to store all the parts you are removing and all the new parts that are arriving. You're quickly going to run out of space in your garage if you try to store everything in the garage. They are waterproof and pretty secure. I designed a steel cover assembly to protect the locks from being cut. Put the shipping container next to the garage and plant tall shrubs around it so your neighbors don't call it an eyesore. I restore aircraft and quickly ran out of space at my shop and bought a used 20 footer for $800 off of eBay. A year later I bought another!! You can never have too much storage!!
