CODE 3 BOX TRUCK CRASH!!! TRUCK DESTROYED, BUT DRIVER SURVIVED!!!

Hello Ladies & Gentlemen and as always, thank you for watching. This is another full 4K video!!! Grab your popcorn and favorite beverage then sit back and get ready for this feature-length production!!! On this job, we were quite shocked to find out the driver survived after seeing the crash site. The truck was almost unrecognizable and how the driver survived…well, I have my thoughts that. Back to the job, we bring out the rotator, of course, our Peterbilt 389X with a Miller Industries 1150R towing and recovery unit, our Western Star with a Vulcan V70, Mike and the Ford rollback, as well as our traffic control unit. Ethan and Talon were on another job in the Peterbilt 4024 and missed this one. Ethan was not happy about missing it. Rain and heavy traffic complicate this, already difficult challenge. But, hey, if it were easy, anyone could do it, right? At least that’s what they say. Again, I’m very pleased the driver wasn’t seriously injured. This was a fun job despite the dangers and challenges. I hope you all enjoy this video!!! Thanks for watching and God bless!!!

My common analogy, “there are many ways to reach 10”. I could have approached this (any) job several different ways. The approach method is important, but more important is achieving the desired result, safely.

Again, a very special thank you to all my viewers, family, and friends who having taken the time to show their support. May God bless and protect you all!!!

Where's the rain?

Ken MacIntyre

Thank God he's okay. Glad to hear that!!!!

Debra Ellison

Your video shows us a day in your life. You give directions clearly for the others to follow. Gives us just how hard and demanding your job is. Gave me a better understanding of what ya'll go through. We're not called the Show Me State for nothing.:) Stay safe out there.

KrystaLynn Melby

Where are you out of?

November Wallace

I hope y'all get paid good for this job

November Wallace

As much damage done he had to be speeding he had to have had an Angel 😇 with him

HauntedShadowsLegacy

People make fun of 'invincible trees' in video games, but this right here goes to show that just driving through 'em ain't realistic.

kim slack

That was really interesting. I pray that man knows it was 100% God's grace that he is still alive. Stay safe, and God Bless.

seth varney

I saw a guy take an old 4 foot shovel handle and attach his cordless 4 inch grinder to the end using hose clamps and he used it for cutting small stuff that was under a hanging load. I thought it was a neat way to do that without having to get under the load. Looks like maybe you could use one from time to time. I enjoy this content. Thanks

Jd Shaw

Y'all did an excellent job on that recovery! I would have done a couple minor things different, but y'all did amazing!

Kris Marshall

One of the lessons I've learned the hard way in my towing career is to always keep rain gear in the truck. Took me one time of getting soaked to learn that lesson.

Ricky Hammond

How much does a Wrecker like the one you drive, Ron, set you back? Is it a 50 ton?

Bruni

"No lowballers, I know what I got, serious inquiries only"

Roxianna Roses

Gotta give Ron and Team their kudos. Rain or Shire or Snow or in some cases, Ice/Sleet they do a great job with the Recoveries. Have a Great New Years Ron and Team.

Justin Henry

Thank God for angels

Tom Crater

That was a mess up truck !! Glad your tow went well !!

Mike Peppers

Trees win against the truck

Mike Peppers

Thelen septic house laying down down on the ground by surprise cab

Reginald Washington

Love how your state allows tow trucks to run code 3. I know most want abuse the privilege. Stay safe

Berth Ljunggren

Glad the driver was okay, hope no serious injures that requires a long recovery or permanent damage.
At 53 i am now in school to get a license to drive a rig like that, but bigger, can weigh up to 72000lbs or so, without load the trucks we drive in school is still around 28000lbs so fairly big things, sure is different to drive from a regular car.

Seeing the front of the truck he must have had a fair bit of speed when he hit that tree seeing the massive damage, and then the drivers door looks close to perfect.

Jacob

1:14:28 mini heart attack moment, nice reaction time by the firefighter tho

Jacob

So do yall staff all the time or do you call guys from home for calls?

Stuart Roland

Nice work on a bad crash .Take care ,be safe.👍👍

Keith James

That shows you just how mean a tree is yall ,

Paul Rivers

1:10:00 wonder if it's totalled?🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Paul Rivers

Wow the driver was so lucky 🙏🙏🙏🤷‍♂️

Paul Rivers

Anyone else notice that the truck hit the biggest tree in the area🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Riley Dowell

We need the code 3 response in the vid to its so cool to see you ripping that Pete to get there

PAUL SONIER

I THINK THE DRIVER DEFINITELY HAD AN ANGEL ON HIS
SHOULDER AND GOD AS HIS CO-PILOT, BECAUSE HE IS SO
LUCKY TO HAVE SURVIVED. HOPE HIS INJURIES WERE NOT LIFE
THREATENING. EVEN YOU AND YOUR CREW WERE ALSO IN A VERY
DANGEROUS SITUATION. PLEASE, STAY SAFE AND ALWAYS WATCH
YOUR BACK.

Mayhem's Master

I just stumbled… literally across yesterday, and it is fascinating! I am a retired paramedic and flight medic, I'm used to getting into the destruction, treating, and packaging pts and extricate them to the ambulance/chopper. I have never had the opportunity to watch the recovery of vehicles. Thank you for all that you do not only in recovery, but the invaluable help you provide in stabilization of vehicles… plus all that you do. Much love n prayers.🙏💜

Bandit Mikey

Wow walking that far from courtesy Excellent

Randy Humphrey

You guys know what doing with doing

Shawn 523

A Q siren on a tow wrecker truck that’s a new one.

SweetLand Farm

If your are allowed lights & sirens then why don't you have police and fire radios to talk to the scene?

Glenn Cutright

Good job Midwest trucking that guy going in front of that truck needs a butt chewin if some thing let go he could have got pinned between the truck and tree time for putting up some police tape

Michael Thomas

In this situation, who would pay the tow company if the box truck didnt have insurance?

Mike B

I'm a little late to the party catching up on videos🤣 Your right, what a mess. Great job once again but things always seem to catch an extra gear when Mike shows up, what an asset he is. I know you notice his value but so do the viewers.

John McCoy

Great video but the head cam was messing with my eyes

Kraig Cochran

A sling would be better than the wheel lift to tow something like that that’s so damaged.a sling truck would help keep the axle in the wrecked truck.

Kraig Cochran

I heard from a reliable source that the driver was watching Ron Pratt videos on YouTube 😆😆😆😆

Noah Navin

I think this is the only tow truck I've ever seen with a siren. I feel like every time truck should have that. You're just as important to a scene as everyone else

Michael Robbins

The nastiest vehicle recovery that Ron has ever shared… This was ripped up beyond belief!
