Yeah I had a guy on my last car wanting straight cash for it so bad. I went and got cashiers check. He had me sign the back of it so he could then also do his name and cash it , then I get a call. Come back to the bank they won’t cash it to me cause you signed it too. I went back and I went to get them put it onto a new check and the teller was so uncomfortable when the guy yelled at her / me 30 ft away to “ just gimme the cash vs putting on another check !” I was like can I please do the check and he got so hostile about it I “had” to do the cash cause I needed the vehicle so bad and the teller was about ready to call cops which I didn’t wanna have to go through it all and know he woulda probably escalated. LUCKILY, nothing was wrong with the car and lower miles for what it was just little things missing here or there like an interior light cover , cig burn in a seat that was tiny , little things seriously. I got lucky but many don’t when it’s asked for straight cash, even got him down a few hundred from what he initially asked.
Man , alright so if they got pulled over for stolen vehicle , would they end up getting charged with purchasing stolen goods still ? ( I know it wasn’t reported yet )
If they were going to pay that much they should have just gone to a legitimate used car dealership or new car dealership that sells used cars. People need to stop by and cars from each other or strangers.
I'm betting it's a illegal. If they know he rented then why can't they arrest him and freeze his accounts. I wonder what the police get paid for nowadays. In Baltimore your lucky if they show up. When they do they treat you like a criminal. Then claim nothing we can do.
He should have no better 22 Dodge for that money I don't know why people are so stupid do your homework it doesn't matter go to a Dodge dealer and see how much you're selling one for and he want cash
Well if he rented the truck they should know who he is right you have to cough up all kinds of information to rent one unless it was somebody else's truck but he would have to know information about it this is too easy to follow on if the cops don't catch this guy they're stupid
16k for a brand new dodge ram truck, in this market? should have been a for sure red flag. They did seem a bit cautious, and very close to not falling for this scam, but what it all comes down to, if it seems to good to be true, then it's not
HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! The truck pictured in the video is NOT a 2022 model. Look up what a 2022 model dodge ram looks like people. Gee what was your first clue? Sorry but stupid people get what they deserve. Car fax means nothing. Whatever VIN was given could have been checked online standing right in front of the man in less than 30 seconds. Sorry cream puffs this aint the land of milk and honey. Scammers are a dime a dozen and the pieces of crap are out there praying on the STUPID. Do your research…follow up…confirm VIN …ownership…title. Anyone can show you a fake title. Gee whiz they got templates online that scammers print off. Make the choice to not be stupid and do research. Taking 30 secs to look up the VIN on the DMV website would have saved $16,000. Wow
That's why when you perches a car from anyone (1) run the vin number Call a local insurance company give them the vin number The insurance company will let you know who's the original owner of the car I did it a few times 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
Something seems a bit strange with this story. It's way more likely the couple made a huge mistake in the buying process that will keep them from legally getting their $ back
It's amazing all of you idiots have all the answers but none of you even have any of the questions I love how people are so good when hindsight is 20/20 Monday Morning Quarterback anyone?
I heard of this kind of thing before. But with a Civic that actually did belong to the seller. He handed a fake title. She drove her new car home. Next morning it was gone. The seller actually just claimed that car back while keeping the cash
Learn from other's mistakes. Have them go to the DMV or police and have them check the owner of the vin…
Dang mane!!!! WoW
Pedro does bad

Foreigners welcome to America. Foreigners are not bright. Shame that lost that money but when they sell anything for cash it's a huge scam.
Well if he rented the truck they should know who he is right you have to cough up all kinds of information to rent one unless it was somebody else's truck but he would have to know information about it this is too easy to follow on if the cops don't catch this guy they're stupid

Probably a fake DL too. Never pay cash. Should have walked away. People are getting crafty out there.
Dumb people are costing us all! greedy dumb people.
If they are that dum to actually think a 2022 was straight up they got what they deserved!!! I do hope they catch the man
Anyone with common since knows you cannot purchase any 2022 vehicle for $16k.
Something seems a bit strange with this story. It's way more likely the couple made a huge mistake in the buying process that will keep them from legally getting their $ back
