29 is warm LOL opening weekend of fishing season in MN one year, 20 degrees, snowstorm, out trolling for walleye/northern pike. Fish were biting so we toughed it out and fought with iced up reels and frozen hands… 4 hours for all 3 of use to limit out on both. Then back to the cabin and heat and beer!
Wish you gave a equipment run down for your trout spinning rod setup. Rod, line, reel and what size spinner. Also where did you get the net?

I use to sit by the babbling brook and watch the speckled trout, but now i stomp on bobcats balls,just to watch their eyes bulge out !!!!

You’re lucky you can keep fishing after your limit. It’s illegal to fish a species after you’ve kept your limit in my state
