Was out with a buddy in the mtns here.
Had some blow ups..and for sure..didn't have any top water… But hey, it was a day in the water.
the fake account sent me a message just letting you know
hey what happened, i thought i won something?
Really enjoyed this one brother. Looking forward to the spybait video!
you are absolutely right about the spy bait. one of my favorite baits right now. white bass and hybrids love it as well.
Hey bro, I’m still learning bass fishing I’m more of a hybrid/striper guy. I’ve been watching a lot of videos lately and I’m hearing a lot about wobble / shakey/ swing head rigs but I’ve never used them. What’s the difference? I’ve used Texas and Carolina rigs but there’s so many different set ups it’s kinda mind blowing.
Great advice. Can you talk about night time fishing in summer?
chatterbait? Love your content just top notch
I’ve been catchin a ton of fish on Colorado Copper Spoons.
My favorite lure is yums I have other ones but yums are my favorite but no strikes in august I do fish Texas rig with all of my soft bait
Thanks for the video so far I haven’t caught any fish in august I use yums in July I caught 7bass but now nothing I’ve had bites on a frog and a fluke but no taker’s
Thanks for the info 👍
Hi, The bruin bait caster you recommend is not available. I bought the moneymaker and now looking for a new recommendation. Thanks
Top water very early in the morning is still a good choice a jig is a never fail lure for me. And small rooster tail or a medium sized buck tail that I can reel slowly. And stick baits that suspend have worked for me year after year. Of course a soft plastic worm or other critter looking bait you can let sit and hop slowly. Great tips as always.
Hey, does storing rods upright against a wall for an extended amount of time cause a permanent bend in them?
Even panfish are finicky in August….. Sometimes they will only eat real bait, the clearwater lakes are only good around sunrise and sunset here in west Michigan, if the water is clouded/stained you might have luck during the middle of the day with artificial lures, they wisen up after a summertime of various lures thrown at them.
Thank for the video, great information.
Aloha from west Michigan
Great baits looks like they fit the ticket. Thank you for sharing 👍
Any tips on good baits for walleye? I'm in north Eastern Colorado? Any tips are greatly appreciated.
I literally just rigged up a bait similar to your screenshot after last weekend! I'm not really sure why…but I did, lol.
Haven't fished it yet…but look forward to it. Thanks for the ideas as always!
Thank you sir! That spy bait looks like money!
Hey Tyler, have you tried Tokyo rigs in lieu of wobble head jigs? I've used both the last two summers, and recently been leaning towards the Tokyo since I can change weights to go with the different depths I'm fishing. Z-man Goat or Billy Goat has been plastic of choice, largemouth here in MN seem to love them. Oh, and thanks for explaining that spybait, I had wondered what's up with them! Great content as usual!

Sunday afternoon it was raining so i was watching your 3 mistakes craw vid and 3 mistakes texas rig Vids and OH MY GOD Tyler because of you i got a largemouth bass to come from under my boat and topwater bite my zoom rootbeer craw , after i saw that it made my day absolute heaven. Because of you Tyler im now a Diehard believer in the zoom rootbeer craw and the zoom craws. All im ever gonna use now is Texas Rigged Craws and worms.
Spybaits are one of my favourite lures, they just catch fish! I like to add a bladed treble to the back of all my spybaits to give that extra flash and thump.
Excellent!.Thanks for sharing. Sometimes we get too complicated
I have been slamming them with a spinnerbait…
Great vid man
Nice, going to upgrade my arsenal 👍 get ready August bass!
I have to add. Throw weird stuff. Caught a 2 pounder (from shore and in MN that's decent size) on a tube jig plastic that I Texas rigged
The Spybait you've linked comes in two models: the 70 (sinking) and the SS70 (slow sinking). Which do you use?
<<<a cool video keep up the great content.. Thank you..
It's different from bank fishing and actually being on a boat.. I don't have a boat
Really enjoy your vids. Always solid info. You mentioned the swing jig head. The waters i fish are full of grass even the larger reserves. Do you have a technique to fish with swim jig heads in grassy lakes. Thank you peace out be safe
Good info buddy as always
Thanks for the tips bro💪😃❗❗
As a new angler, I was hoping to hear a recommendation for not so clear water. At 5:36 he spends a little under 3 min talking about the wonders of spy bait in clear water. A good follow up after that would to be help us bank fisher peeps who have murky water situations. Oh well…I guess I'll have to google it. lol
Man, between you, and Hank over on BassGeek, my brain is just filled with thoughts, ideas, and planning for Aug/Sep fishing just from today’s episodes. Thanks so much for always sharing such succinct, yet very useful content. 👊🏻
