That’s my opinion. Now, if the cabover is missing most of the dash & half of the brakes, well that’s a different story. Cabovers Rule, buddy! 🤩 Teamwork buddy! We’re you really shocked by your team showing up? Hope not. That’s what family & a team does. Come together & get it DONE! You already have the truck, if you can get the truck back on the road quicker, then go for it. Can you get the engine rebuilt quicker? You almost insinuated that it wasn’t an option. Good stuff man! spend the money for the long road if it can truely make the money.. I know its a tight situation but to one and done it w/the best warranty and not have to worry for a long time is the way togo i think cuz it'll last with a good hearted engine & driver
So good to see Braxton doing better. Like someone said, that 16,000 option sounds the best. Network coverage across the Nation and it will "pay for itself in a few weeks" and last for a long while. Love the service truck too!
worst part is the initial invesitment of 30k but you said it yourself i will pay you back within a month and its got a warenty where ever it goes the guy who has the 12k engine great 1 year warenty but is he going to get it brought back from the other side of america and take the cost of that on him or you can just take the 30k engine for instance 20 miles down the road and theyll repair it within 2 day vs 2 days drive back from where ever the 12k engine is and even then your waiting for them to repair it.

I have seen the electric cranes pick up complete engine skids radiator exhaust and bell housing and everything in the between on getting drill rig engines from a blasthole rig

Hey Tim go and look at western truck and service machine repairs channel and look at his service truck. It does everything with heavy machinery. Great stuff. He is a very experienced engineer. Ex navy serviceman.
I would go with the new detroit block, you know them inside and out… you know your good with that all day long.
