There are only two electric trucks currently on the market: the Rivian R1T and the Ford F-150 Lightning … well, unless you count the GMC Hummer EV, but that’s more of a lifestyle accessory. Both the Rivian and the Ford have their merits, but for most buyers, it’s the Lightning that’s the better choice. Head to the video above to see why the Ford F-150 Lightning is the Edmunds Top Rated Electric Truck for 2023!

Where's that in the background? It looks to me like the Porsche Experience Center in LA. As an owner of a 2nd generation SVT lightning with original factory parts, I have no interest in owning a 3rd gen. It lacks style and character in my opinion. The electric lightning performance isn't impressive either.
In 2015 at Bradenton Motorsports Park in FL, ~70F, 200 Traction Tires Rating (NITTO NT05R).
– 03' Ford Lightning SVT (smaller pulleys, transmission valve body)
r/t .03, 1/4 mile in 12.3s
It's a FORD, it'll break in a year lol. Not to mention it's a normal steel frame. 1950's tech. I was super excited about the Lightning till I realized Ford just threw EV components into a gas truck to rush the release. SAD
wow amazing
What a paid advertisement….I bet none of these people have met their Ford Warranty Administrator Rep,,,,wait till they buy this contraption,,,,,this is Funny
Top rated till the batteries won't charge costing more than what the truck is worth. Plus the huge carbon footprint of the battery powered vehicle undermines the credibility of tree huggers.
Wow Edmund finally figured out how to record!
nice Ford ad
F-150 Lightning is a fraud. Proven on many other channels. More of an EV Grocery-getter truck.
Pity Ford didn't consider an all electric Maverick, or a plugin hybrid version.
But Ford is having a great difficulty to anticipate the demand for the regular hybrid….
I surely thought the Cybertruck would win. Oh wait….😂😂😂
