Nice change of pace. The way the redfish came up so close was really cool. All the spotted bass I've caught in NC have had other fish chasing them like that, trying to steal the bait from the hooked fish. It's fun to see.

I'm actually kind of glad they don't let people keep red fish from the lagoon anymore. I feel like we don't see big schools in the lagoon much anymore. Back when I first moved here I'd always see massive red fish schools feeding in the lagoon especially during the mullet run.

That's why I always keep a 2nd rod ready to go while fishing for red fish! They love to follow another red fish on the line right to your feet and don't really pay attention to anything else! Some amazing colors this time of year and that bit of blue on the tip of their tails is amazing un the sunlight! And another great video Joey! This is one of my favorite ways to fish, Walking shorelines and fishing on Crazy trees!
