Here’s an easy guide to Fishing in the Orb Vallis (Fortuna). I’ve tried to condense as much information into just over 5 minutes as I could and I really hope it helps!

All fish provide scrap.

UPDATE : As of Hotfix 24.05, Eye-Eyes are now a warm pond fish along with Brickies!
NOTE : For those of you using bait, make sure to throw it into the parts of the water with a greenish glow(hotspots) for the bait to take effect.
Also, Charamotes and Synathids CAN be caught without bait but are very rare.

Even in 2021 it stil helps thanks . Fan fact if anyone have had this happening but there is a chance for the consumable that helps you see the fishs to never lose its efect . That day ive been fishing for i think 3 hours and it wouldnt lose its effect

spent a few hours, caught the super rare synathid fish around 10 times then as i was heading to extraction, internet connection was lost. lost all of my hard work.

I still can't figure out the venedo cases or anything that we get by dismantling Valis fish. I think they're supposed to contain loot, but how do they open?

so basically we now have to deal with BS RNG for some fish making fishing take even LONGER to do then it otherwise would… great…
Edit: before you could generally go to a specific place at a specific time to catch the fish you needed now, you have to sit and wait for the weather to change in order to catch certain fish… this is arguably WORSE then what we had before. If you need say brickies…for batteries, you end up in lulls where you cant get what you need because the weather changed… i will pretty much avoid fishing as much as i can in fortuna for this reason… even if i like the elctro spear more… it's generally alot more tedious this time around…

Charamote's doesn't require baits. I have caught them from some caves & I haven't even reached the rank for that bait yet.
