I think the automaker can be rescued most of the cars to run a gain in the roads

Trevor K

I want to save both those Jeeps!

Dan Thompson

What a play ground love it

James Hilburn

Two years ago I bought a 2008 Touareg 2, VR6, because of the TFL “Tough T” series. My wife and I love it. It drives like a Porsche Cayenne and will do 150 on the Autobahn and then you can take it off road. Thanks to TFL for bringing awareness to the Tough T.

Matt McC

This junkyard series is great keep them coming.

Is this the future of vehicle reviews? Cannot find things on the road to look at, so one is forced to go to the junkyard to look at what has crapped out? Do a survey and figure out which manufactured vehicle are the most commonly found in the junkyard. At least make this more about consumer interest than your tearful cemetery reunions. 🙃

Cody Coquat

The Colorado came with a 4 cyl, a 5 cyl, and later, a small block v8.

Ryu rc

Those 1 ton jeep straight axles won't be there long. Could build a hell of an off-road rig with those… undoubtedly why someone stole the axle off that 4×4 Chevy as well.

Please make more

Mixwell1983

I dont think people forgot, i have never seen this truck on the road but I have seen a few comaches like 20 years ago. This would be an awesome project for someone with the know how and willing to put in the work.

Depending on dimensions you could use a ram or possibly Dakota frame with an older 318 block or even a 5.7 hemi or a 5.9. Cummins.. someone out there can figure out how to make it happen

spamanator666

Scottsdale is only one level above base model, so not that big of a deal.

Love the Isuzu trooper 2 in your post. I have a 1994 trooper S with the 5 speed and I never see any on the road.

Reg Sparkes

Dandy and interesting subject, guys!

Why does that junk yard look like a nuclear blast site?

Sean Clark

I am glad the XC90 got a shout out in this video since I think they are highly underrated, but am surprised to see one in the junk yard as Volvo’s are known for reliability. Mine is a 2013 with the 3.2 inline 6 cylinder and does good off-road. It can also tow 5,000 lbs. and yes, the seats are amazing. I believe Volvo even designed the seats with the help of a team of chiropractors. It’s also my understanding Volvo developed blind-spot monitoring system and started offering it as a option in the late 1990’s.

Awesome video❤❤❤ contiene with this one guys, but please review more full size Suvs, pick ups and full size vans from the 90’s and 2000’s like second gen Dodge Ram 1500 with the Magnums V8 and last gen Dodge Ram Van & Wagons 😊

Nice work Tommy. Always great to see you.

BRRD’s Garage

Hey Tommy! That kink in the hood of the K20 is due to a safety feature GM had for some of the earlier square bodies. You see, the hood was designed to kink and crumple in case of a front end collision. That’s why the hoods had those smaller indents. The hoods were supposed to be closed by pushing them inwards – therefore releasing the hood springs, then bringing them down. Many people didn’t know that, which resulted in those kinks. It was a poor design that I believe GM did away with in the early 80s.

RAWags44

I feel so old. I can remember when all of these vehicles were new!

Daniel C

I like these Steve Magnante junkyard crawl style tours.

James R

Can any of theses be rescued

Mike Lamberth

Bought a new Trooper in 1988. A great SUV that would go almost anywhere.

David Hage

That jeep truck is a full size Comanche? You guys at tfl are fantastic.

Bob O'Bobbledoo

Jeep was never a leading truck manufacturer. It was rare to see one on the road.

John Moore

It is sad to see 20 year old or newer cars in the junkyard. It tells you how unreliable they are. Those customers likely got ripped off.

Jeepin Dave

You need those j20 axles tommy

Dale Jones

These junkyard videos are awesome

El Mero Lupe

LOVE THESE VIDEOS!

Your definition of rare is somewhat different than many people I know and valuable??? Hahaha. If they were in good shape. It would be impossible to come out to the good financially. It would take 3 times the finished value of those trucks to make them anything worth enough to be valuable.
I gotta stop watching the junkyard videos. Your information is pretty decent, but I lived through the years these were on the road and have been driving since 1977, an owner since 1975. I still drive relevant vehicles like my current F150 Tremor, I have classics currently from 1929 to 2004 (Lightning). 59 or 60 over the years as I had 2, or 3 ‘49 Ford F1s. My brother claims one was his. He said he got the $$$ when he sold it,,,,,,, hmmmmm.
I respectfully just have a very different point of view once they hit the junkyard. You two are having fun and that’s all that really matters!! Hahaha.

John Daltroff

Love looking around junkyards, too bad you couldn't find an old bronco 2.

James Kennedy

Another great video. It brings back memories of the square body chevys. I owned a 1973, 1978,(made the mistake & let our 16 yr. old son drive it, he tried to jump a ditch, broke the frame, also owned a 1980. They were half ton SB V-8’s. I call all of those Junkyard Gold. Y’all keep’m coming

TacticalLumberjack

I love those Jeep trucks…

Riley Babineau

First gen xc90 had a 2.5t 5 cylinder, not 6. They also offered it with the 2.9 twin turbo straight 6 as well as the 3.2 naturally aspirated 6 cylinder. Only downfall was they borrowed a transmission from gm for the 2.9 twin turbo 6. Awful transmissions. Every other configuration came with an aisin transmission which were generally fairly strong and the brand Volvo still uses to date.

aviestrela

Where are the Mitsubishi Monteros or Pajeros?

Coyote808

The shame of that Jeep J20 in the scrap yard. I remember seeing the Jeep truck in Tremors and thinking, man, I want to get one when I grow up. Now I am old enough and the prices are astronomical and I'm pretty sure I'll never be able to own one because the prices keep climbing far out of reach.

Scotty Ellis

Love the junk yard episodes, keep'em coming. 👍🏻👍🏻

Rich Farfugnuven

Buy the Jeep pickup, rebuild it as a rescue rig with a 5.3LS…

David Bauer

Cash for clunkers did a lot of the old Jeep pickups in. In the early part of the century they were rusty, gas hog, polluting piles of junk in need of recycling, especially in the Boulder Colorado area. How a few managed to survive in the scrap yard is amazing. The ethos during those days of high gas prices was: "Fire up the crusher, no one will be restoring these things and will never need parts! The Chinese are paying top dollar for good ole Merican steel." No one noticed little Tommy boy screaming "NOOOOOOO!" in the grade school playground. So sad 😥.

I had just turned 16 and I responded to a help wanted ad in the newspaper. The lady needed help moving items to her new condo. She wanted me to drive her brand new Mercedes ML. I thought that was the coolest thing. Now looking back at that whole experience that day it felt very mrs. Robinson

hollatmynutz

Junkyards are great
