What a shame the truck looks good but the undercarriage -frame rails and such looks all rusted and for a 2022 that’s a shame
Nice looking truck.
I wonder how it compares to the new Chevy?
That bed looks horrible. These trucks need to get back to basics without all of the bs.The 80s are calling they want their tail pipes back.
Did he just by gosh?? I think it's by golly?
Ultimate? I’ll take my old 1972 Series IIA Land Rover and a tent instead.
Nice truck but I would rather build a Tahoe or Yukon to match it.
What brand are the sliders?
I love the suspenseful music combined with the mild off-roading.
This is not an ultimate overland rig
Brand new 2022 and frame already all rusted out. Next time take a chain saw and cut that tree down cheaper than damaging that GMC
Great nerves on Andre climbing razor rocks. Well Done
Everything on that truck is perfect except its not the LM2 Diesel and that stupid dual exhaust put the back need to get cut. Needs a turndown after the rear axle and it be perfect.
The ONLY ISSUE I have with this truck is the lack of FULL UNDERBODY SKIDPLATES!
Put those on everything that matters and THEN this truck will work for everything overland. I would suggest 1/8 inch thick 6061 Series Aluminum Alloy WITH a 1/8th or even a 1/4 inch thick Line-X truck bed liner coating on both side of the skid plates. That will give that EXTRA protection that can be critical in many situations.
For emergencies, I would ALSO GET an in-cabin mounted combined CB/GPRS/VHF and long-range Shortwave Transceiver radio so you can use multiple modes of long range communications. All the major radio communications bands are available on such a setup. You can warn logging trucks that you are in the area. Check local CB and VHF channel numbers that are usually assigned at your state-level forest service for which ones to use for truck-to-truck comms.
You can buy SDR (Software Defined Radio) boxes that plug into a Microsoft Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system console mounted rugged laptop (i.e. Getac or iExplore) which can make your life a lot easier in an emergency situation. Remember to get both a headset with flexible boom microphone and a push-to-talk handheld microphone (i.e. looks like a CB mic) That lets YOU and your passenger delegate the the use radios according to your comms needs. Remember to get the longest and best quality flexible/extending antenna you can buy!
I would also get an in-bed-mounted 50 Gallon Gas Reserve Tank (180 litres) that has the full electric or foot operated fuel pump handle (i.e. the smaller version of the fuel pump handle at your gas station) so you can fill up your toys or other vehicles AND which lets you travel far longer distances. That could give you an extra 600+ miles of driving range! Handy for big trips. Also get TWO 40 lbs Propane Tanks for your space heaters and propane stove cooking setup.

Andre's anxiety while driving is why I don't drive a 80 thousand dollar truck. IFS is why I don't drive a chevy. Diesel, straight axle, and a regular truck cap to sleep in,I'll pass on all that other crap.
Now this is the perfect truck to tackle Alaska. The quad exhausts are cool on the Denali Ultimate, but not on a extreme off-road truck like this. I would keep the stock exhaust and placement tucked under the bumper plus a additional spare tire. Awesome video and great driving, Andre.
Yeah… you've got so much tire and so much traction from the lockers you really don't have to air down. It will 100% ride rougher but it will absolutely help with ground clearance. From my experiments it's about 1/4 inches on my vehicle (on flat ground) it would probably hurt the clearance a half inch off camber .
Who goes off roading with 40psi lol jesus
Great Australian product on that GMC, the MITS Alloy Canopy!
What an amazing looking rig😮
Cheers Pat 🇦🇺
Good to see some Australian products 🙂
However, I don't think this is big tent, just a swag 🙂
I’m not a fan of how the exhaust got routed especially since the driver side looks like it’s actually touching the shock over time that will be an issue.. I would have just cut the quad exhaust off and remove all the piping to just after the axle and run some soft 90 degree dumps so it’s tucked and not touching the shocks. Other than that it’s a well thought out, gorgeous, and very capable rig.
This truck — and video — rocks!
I love this video I just thought it was funny when you said“ I never leave home without it” I never thought you could leave home forgetting your app lol😅. I know that it was a figure speech, but I thought it was funny.
Excellent video, sweet rig and awesome crawling! Well done, once again! 👏👏👏
It almost looked like a daystar cradle for the airbag system. Sure it isn't a fully floating airbag set up? Either way nice but also don't see any springs. If youmhave a leak in a line or bag no backup.
That truck will go the way of the DoDo bird in a few short years when the leftist loonies that dominate Colorado, Oregon, Washington and California and ban fossil fuel use, fossil fuel vehicles. This is what the so-called 80 million want/voted for.
I know it’s not your truck but why so afraid to hit a skid plate or two? It’s what it’s made for and we want to see the true capabilities.
So TFL called this the ultimate overlander. WTF??? NO sleeping quarters? I'm starting to loose respect in you guys lately.
Pep boys called. They would like there exhaust back! 🤠
I'm not a fan of BIG3 trucks but this build is awesome!
Those rear tires look so close to the wheel wells. I bet snow, ice or mud will build up easily.
Your tire pressure as usual is way to high for off roading.
Brand new?! Look at the frame it’s rusted out eww
Spare holder just dangling
Le Kwa…. lol!
Wow Andre, you really are NOT very smooth on the throttle!
Don’t like the white piping on the seats, looks like a bad suit from a 1970 prom!
