Just wondering about the economics. A total of four hours there and back. And investing money to fish the spot. Motel anyone for an early fishing start? I'm no fisherman but I had always heard that fish are biting in the early morning.

Nice video. However, while you don't say that you actually caught the fish that you were after, the lead is misleading, just keeps us logically assuming that you did, just to "get us in the door". And to rub salt in the wound, you even never bothered to ID the fish. Since, its a cold water Ozark creek, it is logic that "the fish" in question is a trout, either a brown or a brookie. Give us a break, man. Which is it?🙂

Bro, you need the tripod that has a strap where you can place a brick or a weight to prevent your tripod from tipping. Love your channel.
My best friend and I used to use the panther martins (size O and OO) in the upper part of the Huron river while wade fishing. We’d catch fish after fish using them. Mostly small mouth bass, and rock bass, or war mouth bass we called them. Not real big, but supper fun. I used a nine foot fly rod with a ultralight spinning reel. (Shimano of course, best reels per dollar in my book) this video Brough fond memories of that, and of my little brother and I fishing Michigan trout creeks of about that same size. Some of my fondest sporting memories. Thanks brother! We mostly did catch and release, but a couple on the creek side in a iron skillet, butter, salt, pepper, and Lawreys season salt was absolutely fantastic too! Had a backpack I carried that in just for the purpose. A couple 9-10 inch trout each over a open fire on the side of the creek where you just caught them. Nothing better! Used the fire to warm the creek water to wash the pan out. Use the pan to put the fire out. Of course you took proper care of the iron skillet when you got home.
