I caught one in the Falls of the Ohio where I live.. it was about 5ft long and there was no way I was touching that thing with my hands. I've handle the 2.5 to 3ft ones before.. but that last one was only a Foot shorter than I am tall, and I wasn't taking any chances with those teeth and all the crazy flopping.
