I loved this scene she looks at Jesus and is like who are you? lol
To me there is too much extra added that is not in scripture. I understand and can appreciate what the creators of the chosen are trying to do, but cannot support the methods on how they go about it.
I always think it’s kind of funny that after Jesus heals her she immediately wants to wait on them. You just got healed by the Son of God, take at least a minute haha

A tension pervades The Chosen between presenting the Gospel accurately vs embellishing and thereby blurring it for dramatic impact. This is highlighted in the director's statement here about inventing a backstory to make Jesus' healing miracle more powerful. How could anything really make a miracle more powerful? Very troubling.

i love the down to earth human portrail of jesus in this show. i've always hated how biblical shows alway protray him as this larger than life God amongst man figure. in the bible he was a man just like anyother, and that was the point.
