My latest set is this 4×4 App Controlled Mercedes Benz Zetros Trial Truck with remote controlled drive, steering and differential lock. Manually openable doors, bonnet and gearbox latch. The model features two live axles with full suspension and planetary wheel hubs. Other details include air snorkel, fire extinguishers, new Mercedes logo print and a rubber duck. The model is quite capable in the terrain and can handle slopes ith over 45° (100%) incline. The truck is meant to be used indoors!

Just finished the build with my son, the difflock engages when switched off and disengages when on. There might be an issue in the main gearbox as my son did the gears. Also, when difflock is engaged, the left rear tyre is totally locked, like the vehicle goes and just drags this one along. Dismantled the rear sub and checked but everything seems ok, not sure where to go from here…otherwise, great design and the truck looks awesome when completed, definitely worth the price.
Another great set from my favorite designer 😊
Excellent review! Are rear wheels a little slower than front wheels?
I took this set into the waterfalls and it has incredible off road performance! I love the differential locking feature, it's so useful when off roading! I also tried the tires from the unimog u400 on this set! Looks great! Both tire options work well! The suspension is great too! I love this set! You are an awesome designer!
you designed this set?
I thought Markus created it!
Hope to see B models of this set! 🙂
This appears to be the best official set for off-roading (not that anyone will bring it outdoors where it doesn't belong, cough cough)! It's just a pity that there was no way to have more ground clearance under each axle, using the planetary hubs.
Did you try using the portal hub elements (those that appeared in the other Mercedes truck, the 8110) instead of the planetary ones? Those would give more ground clearance, at the cost of less gear reduction and less torque.
Milan you best!!!
Congrats on the new set! It looks awesome from every angle. I like how the hub just looks like a natural back wall of the cabin
This is really cool! I like the crazy high torque, and how it is another set with the 42099 cv system with the planetary wheel hubs!
Brilliant Set in my opinion…i will definitly buy it but i will wait until the Price is lower 😀👍
Hey, Set number 42022 was actually my first Technic set)
The Zetros is very nice, and I like how powerful it is, but $300? I know it's not you to make the prices, but still, this one will be a stopper for a lot of Technic fans, including me(
Not Interessed in the slightest. Only App Control. Too less functions. I Miss two tires. I think IT should be six tires. Price is high. And why Not a Mercedes g class. I am Not Sure If you can build a good alternate model Out of this. And i know you Made great alternate Models. The two Truck will be more interesting.
One more question: why XL motors are not used in this set? (in favor of L motors)
8:04 I like warning with green letters on green background. Reminds me of the Japanese auto manufacturer's "gentleman's agreement" in 1988. The world got 276hp sports cars, but everybody knew what to do 🙂
P.S. That is the time we got Toyota Supra (MKIV). BTW, can you make one?
Thank you Milan for designing such a cool set which has enough torque right out of the box without any mods) And I'm looking forward to alternative build for this set from you)
There are 2 waiting for me at the local LEGO store. My dad is here from Israel and will get one.
Hi man, thank you for bringing Truck Trial to the official Lego set. That's a big step forward to the AFOL community. This is a great video and a brilliant model. It seems in this video you tried to avoid some minor imperfections, which community members found in the model (huge turnaround radius and low ground clearance for example). I believe, I mostly understand why it happens. But it seems all of us wanted to hear your comments on these small imperfections. I mean, that is really interesting to hear your point of view.
I have really enjoyed your zetros design! It has plenty of power and yeah, the yellow rubber duck wins. Awesome job done.
I'm very happy to see that you was able to push so many features there.
What a pity that we didn't get the 6×6 on larger tires :[
Maybe you'd like to build a 6 wheel mod some day? (I have always difficult time with designing double live axles).
Can you make list of your sets?
I like it
I think that there should be QR codes to your videos in the Instructions of the Lego Sets !
