great informative vid again Jon ,appreciated you showing rig used at the end ,always good to see the finer details .also noticed you using the new mtx 5 v-2 pole ,looks the business
Hi Jon. Bishops is my local fishery too. Do you coach?
Good result Jon,
Nice video Jon, new pole looks good, thanks
Good video again Jon do you know how to fish with a dura waggler I only use float stops with out any weight but it is still to heavy to use I took all the weight of the float but is still not enough thanks stay lucky
Great vid as usual. Maybe obvious to you but are crucians allowed on a silvers match then? I assumed that any type of carp wouldn't be – but what do I know?
Hi Jon what a blowy day you had. You did very well. Great watch. Have god week 😊
Well done Jon, another informative and enjoyable watch.
As a member I have to say you're videos are some of the best on YouTube. I always look forward to the next instalment and watch most of them multiple times, keep up the good work and best of luck for the coming year.
Notice you only have red maggots and pinkys i fished monday only caught on reds is the white maggot finished as a bait ? Great video again mate was bloody frozen on Monday when I fished think it's easier watching you lol
Well fished John nice bag of fish and sume nuggets thight lines
New pole?
it looked cold jon i fished there in the summer it can be hit and miss no pun intended ..at the best of times but when its grey cold wind blowing in all directions its hard work.i often think in winter these lakes fish like canals do in winter .i remember years ago for some strange reason two squats got bigger roach .and squat and pinkies got the perch when worm did not work .i think squats in ground bait holds fish better than pinkies and maggot when its bitter cold ,well jon well done and tight lines and full nets..
Well done. Make it look so easy
Well done Jon winning your section look like a difficult peg. The pole you were using was it a new matrix pole because when you was shipping out didn't see the white graphics on the mtx4 once again well done see you on the next match tight lines 🎣🎣👍
Definitely on top of your game , top angling 👏👏👏
Really good to watch it gives inspiration, can’t wait I’m there in February
Be a good carp lake in the summer lol you hooked enough in January lol I've never fished marshes but won all 3 matches I fished on white Bishop 😁 bishops bowl is a cracking fishery and Sean smart is a top bloke too

Alright bud I've got the mtx4 and was considering the mtx5 just wondered if you found it any lighter at 14,5 or 16m?
I love the uncomplicated way you approach these waters. Little bit of info gleaned in advance followed by simple but efficient methods to catch the fish.
Well fished Jon. Section plus 2nd on lake on a Cold and blustery day. Cheers
Top video as always Jon!!! 🎉👍🎣
Great video John top fishing in this cold weather 💪🎣🎣🎣

A bit of crumpled plastic isn’t exactly a watering can rose but we can add it to the list 😀
Cheers 🍺👍🍌
Sticking a right hook on that ide's chin . Didn't know you was a secret boxer Jon 🥊🎣 well done in tough conditions and rules.
Jason
I liked the way you kept it nice and simple, knowing your target fish and using the right bait for them. Congratulations on a good result!
Hi John, Frank from Liverpool.
Just watching your latest video, see you suffering from cold wind left to right, how come you don't utilise a fishing brolly as a wind break, always made my angling days more comfortable.
And if it is not to much to ask could you spend a couple mins at end of a video to explain to an old fuddy daddy leasure angler what an Ide is and an F1.
