MASSIVE World Record Size Hammerhead Shark Caught Fishing with Greg Norman

In this episode of BlacktipH, Greg Norman and I catch a massive hammerhead shark that was bigger in overall length than the current world record. I was flying my drone and found a monster hammerhead shark chasing a blacktip shark, trying to eat it. We hooked a blacktip shark and moments later, a massive hammerhead shark swam by the boat and proceeded to eat the blacktip shark that we hooked. I managed to capture the entire feeding behavior with my drone! Greg fought the shark for nearly an hour with heavy tackle. The size of this shark was massive, larger than we imagined! The overall length of the shark was 175 inches (14ft and 7 inches), literary the largest hammerhead shark I’ve ever seen! Myself, Greg and Ryan decided to jump in the water with the shark before the release. This was such an incredible experience! Greg caught and released one of the largest hammerhead sharks ever on rod and reel!

Bing bing

This is the perfect explanation of why we live shorter than ladies

paulmooney476

Excellent hammer..

Ninja Spuddy

How did you get the hook out from the shark you used as bait?? If that shark did live it’s gonna spend the rest of its life with a massive hook inside of it??? Horrendous

Fishinman

Old Hitler!

D Thomas

That hammer head shark was huge

Nice video

Miss Marshall

So this guy abuses and murdering sharks for likes on YouTube? He knows those sharks aren’t surviving this stress

Miss Marshall

This video made me feel dirty. Nothing like cheap thrills at the expense of another being.

weird how with all that top-end filming equipment y’all didn’t show the “revived” shark swimming away. it’s tail was completely limp and while it was tied the only movement was from the rope holders. this type of behavior should be illegal. profoundly sus.

Spike Bender

I have a set of Greg Norman clubs. WOW Greg is in shape!!!

Drexel Louis

That could be the big female that I used to see North of Jensen Beach hunting black tips. This was back in 1981 82.

Joey Pinter

i really like these videos. however, the host has to stop squealing like a girl whenever he gets excited.

mikey webb

Greg keeps himself on great shape, awesome guy

Vincent Wolthek

would actually be insane to see jeremy wade on this show

Ricky

laurie carter

Then a great white bites the hammerhead in two and goes after some crazy fishermen in the water so much food must be Christmas great white thinks!!!!

Hubba Bubble

Why do you catch these beautiful creatures just leave them alone you idiots!

Sean Algaze

so dope, amazing to see you guys did the right thing and revived the hammer head when they have the toughest time out of any shark to survive after being caught 🙌

Laurence Boomert

if they really wanted to feel connected to the animal they could all have put hooks through their mouths and be dragged around for an hour by them

Neal Armstrong

When I first read the title of the video, I thought this was going to be another video where someone catches/hunts and then kills a perfect, healthy, mature breeding specimen of an animal and then puts their head on a wall, but kudos to you guys for the catch and release! That was a VERY large hammerhead.

Ahhhhh! For Goodness Sake!!

NOT feeling this flick at all. Ultimately, all I saw was wanna be big men catching big fish to make them feel big…… when is the drone shot not enough….? Loved this flick up until a live black tip gets purposely hung out to dry and then swallowed up by that spec of a hammerhead….. fish like that are becoming more of a rarity and I hope to God that fish made it through the knackering and highly stressful experience and didn't die of suffocation. Sharks need to keep swimming to oxygenate gills and often wash up dead as door nail after draining fights with rod and reel. Awesome camera work, huge respect there but not feeling the "woooooh! Yeaaahhhhh! Caught a spec hammerhead and now I feel a man BS…..!" Hope the poor thing lives to fight another day, but at least you got your money's worth. Attitudes have gotta start changing….. drone shots are enough!

im watching this for scince

"I called Greg Norman and I said, Hey man."
I lasted less than ten seconds on this video. Bummer if it's good, I'll never know.

The Nation Decides

That black tip shark at the start was fully prepared to exit the water permanently and start a career in real estate

FlyFishDan

That is just epic -I can't even imagine trying to reel in a friggin shark…YIKES

Magnificent 🦈 shark. I have 2 friends that work with dolphin, lemon sharks and hammerhead sharks in the Bahamas. They got a photo working with huge hammerhead sharks on the front of National Geographic magazine.
