The crazy thing is they were a thing before the whole hemp cannabinoid craze. Before anyone even knew what delta8 what, they were selling fake edibles out of their trucks and stores and passing it off as the real thing. They were essentially a candy shop with cannabis imagery. All the reviews would say the product is fake and there was no effects, but somehow they were able to stay in business.
They are preying on soft targets they know won't fight back. They ain't got time to stop violent crime.
So weed isn’t legal but they also prevent people trying to get licenses from getting them to be able to sell in a legitimate way.

It's illegal to advertise MJ on a cannabis truck, but it's ok to have government PSAs on public transportation telling people to shoot-up drugs with a clean needle provided by the government. Progressives are ok with people using MJ at home recreationally purchased by a shady person from the black market, but it can't be purchased by a legitimate business owner openly.
