The One Sea confederation is taking a lead in developing the technologies that will enable the autonomous ship .

Digital, Internet, Materials & Engineering Co-Creation Ltd. ( DIMECC ), the finnish nonprofit organization platform that provides administrative and other resources for the One Sea ecosystem, recently unveiled the Sea for Value program. S4V aims to develop concrete research-based recommendations on regulation, business, data use, and sharing and calibration for autonomous ships.
The project offers fresh evidence that an ecosystem for autonomous maritime transportation envisaged by One Sea can be achieved in time to meet the alliance ’ s ambitious prey of 2025 .

Regulation
