Hopefully you had the cam phasers replaced and we’re on your merry way. At high mileage they get more sensitive to oil level, oil quality and the age/west on the oil. Good luck!

if its the 5.3 my 09 needed the phasers, they put plastic in them, and they get brittle and break. Screws up a lot when they go. Luckily, I bought an extended warranty. $5600
