Something I've found to be a good way to make money while fishing, is to bring a cat with you and cut up the fish and feed it and farm cats to 99 fishing. It gets you around 15k death runes which is about 4.5m and will only cost you an extra 5 hours
This is basically bug abuse. Same with that 2-tick cooking method I've seen. Can't believe jagex never fix any of this stuff…
At what level is it worth it to start doing this? I've tested this at level 77 and I'm not getting any better xp/hr than I would by afking.
I'm never a fan of the "less tick" tricks for skills that are always going to be really slow to train. I'm going to be grinding the skill non-stop for over a month regardless… I might as well chillax and binge watch netflix instead of giving myself arthritis and constant migraines on this shit.
FYI you can use a pet if you are not in the spot next to the tree.

so I was using the woodcut thing cause my mouse keys are pretty broken through excessive use on keyboard haven't been to the shop yet so yeah. anyways I started a different method which seems just as fast. first click the fishing spot. second I clicked my rod so I was using it. as soon as I caught a fish I clicked my use rod on the fishing spot(same tick I think, I'm bad with ticks and stuff) but it seemed just as fast and wasn't as hard as wc method. tick timer it for me please!
You can also activate 3 or 4 tick fishing by simply dropping the fish you caught. Requires good timing.
How about Rock Cake instead of purple sweets? Would eating rock cake work? It's "stackable" and you won't fall under 2 hp. The only thing is, wouldn't u still have to drop the roe and caviar losing us xp/hr?

Hey Aubury 2 questions, one, is fish 1 drop 1 viable at all compared to these methods? I remember seeing a Jebrim video and he said that's how Suomi got 200m I'm sure it's not as good as 3t but how about 4t? If 4t is better though for max xp rates do you recommend just dropping 1 column, 2 columns, etc or just the whole inventory? Thanks a lot love your guides and your twitch you've taught me a lot

I know this video is getting a bit old now, but i remember pre eoc when i was getting 99 fishing i was alching all the fish at barb spot, I think this sped it up like this basically i got sick of dropping the fish so i decided to just alch them and nats were about 180ea at that point in time.
I wonder if that still works okay.
Did they nerf 3 tick fishing? It's really not working for me anymore. My fish offcuts vanish every time I catch a new fish and reset the position.
