Sea fishing on the Cornwall coast can offer some wonderful species to catch if you adapt what you are doing. This time of year you really have to make the most of any opportunity you can. Here I explore an area of reef I have wanted to fish for a while and try to find some shelter from the wind and swell. Trying to dodge the bad weather squalls I catch some nice fish and record some incredible underwater footage.

Really tough conditions mate but you gave it ago. Good to see the under water footage very murky at 40m a bit spooky if you ask me lol. Good effort John mate. Tight lines 🎣🎣🎣
Always interesting vids. If you splice in a swivel just above your anchor you'll get rid of most of the twist in the anchor line. Cost about a tenner in stainless from a chandlers 😉
When you fish wrecks do you know there history?? What happened too the ships….
I'm not even a sea angler & I'm loving the content, John… 🤗
Did you have to pull for a break with that conger in its hole ? 🤔
The underwater footage was great, the starfish just goin about his business… 🙄
I learn something new from every vid & just love yer sunny disposition… I almost feel like I'm there with ya mate…. 😂
😎👍☘️🍺
Camera issues ? Look at the Insta 360supposed to be the dogs
Great adventure this one. 👌
Not the most productive day you have had John but every single one of your videos are a success because of you honest, relaxed & informative presentations. You got one Bream for you troubles but I rather feel you 'won't get fat' on just that one, plus there was some nice underwater inserts too. Regards to your family, cheers, Don from South Aust.
I can understand where you coming from because of the weather lol, but if I had a lovely boat like yours I'd want to fish every minute I could even If they were small, But yes great underwater footage and some lovely fish specially the Eel.
Brilliant as usual 👏 👌 John fishing in ireland is no more unfortunately 😕 the government has let our fishery b overfished for 60 yrs with the sea now more or less barren
excellent film once again john
Great video as always, thank you for giving us something to watch, on this rainy days. Did you ever think about getting a trolling motor with anchor lock option? It would save you a lot of time and energy. Best regards and keep up the good work!
Love the underwater footage as always ✌️🏴
if only you had gone over the rainbow john…lots of fish there ..lol….great vid …loved the underwater …cheers from wet lancs ..
100% love the underwater footage and descriptions keep up the great work !!
Nice little rainbow at 21:57, and again at 25:32. At least you're getting out friend. I'm just waiting for good ice to form here so I can chase some bluegills and pike.
My Grampa once caught one of the largest Pike fish in Onaping Lake, Ontario Canada. Took him hours to reel it in. He stuffed it and put it on the wall. Legendary LOL Thanks for your video today!☺ The only luck I had was a large mouth Bass………don't even want to tell you how it was dispatched….did not taste well at all, but interesting it had some little cray fish or something like that in it's belly. Did not know what I was doing and I'll always feel bad about the whole thing…..to a point. I can't fathom that you think your cameras are bad LOL! So cool. Bless you and your family!
Great underwater footage, John. Certainly not easy fishing at the moment. The weather is basically crap these last 3 weeks. Thanks for the video.
Brilliant video again John with superb underwater footage. Keep ‘em coming. Best wishes and tight lines.
