This is epic

Great video! You can tell this is a very sustainable way to commercially fish. All rod and reel! (Or no reel with this lol) love to see it

Chucky2Tonez

Takes 400lbs of chum to go out and hit them like that , Believe It or Not Aaron we used to hit them real hard like that off Geiger key there's a hump out there and we used to send down a whole yellow tail with the tail cut off and catch some nice big black groupers. My uncle had a commercial boat right there in Stock Island at the fish house back in the late seventies early eighties up until the 2000s and I used to go out there with him all the time I spend my Summers down there working with him you don't see it like that anymore in a lot of areas but it does take a shitload of chum LOL a lot of chum and oatmeal

Michael Lacey

Thanks for sharing….such a better way to commercial fish in my opinion over the bottom draggers we have up north…..little to no by-catch there, very sustainable!

Jack

Wow crazy awesome episode

Mayhew Cuthbertson

Great educational video for us! Thanks!!

Clark Wikoff

Fantastic. Great content, keep up the good work. Very cool to get some insight on commercial fishing

Adolf Dempsey

Unsubscribed!

Good stuff!! You guys rock!!

Dennis Blankenship

Aaron, what were they sowing in the water and is there a special purpose other than attracting the fish?

Chuck Taylor

If commercial fishing is the hardest job you ever had , you never had a hard job . I speak from experience. I've gill netted , long lined and razor clamed through Long Island winters . Easiest money I ever made .

backtohealthyactive

Thanks Aaron for sharing a bit different perspective on commercial fishing, super cool to see that. Keep up the great work man.

John Shuptrine

Amazing stuff! Thanks so much for your videos1

CRAZY YAKKER

great work, thanks

SmashBoomBam

Any idea if you could make a living in Key West catching Lionfish? I know they are an invasive species so I figure two birds with one stone. Not sure how prevalent they are down there. Or if others are doing this.

Lewis Nowell

Everybody commenting has already said what an awesome episode this was, well I'm gonna say it again. This was awesome!! So informative, so real, thanks for another great video Aaron!

Rich Hernandez

Excellent Video! Would love to see more of these!

Don Dasher

Great video. I’m old enough to understand the hard work people put in so we can have food, energy, water and all the nice things at our finger tips. Very informative👍

Keeb

Hey Cap! Do they file the barbs off the hooks?

Dan Lucas

Top 5 best KW Waterman videos! What kind of drone are you using Capt?

GEO

Saltwater version of cane pole fishing. Of course the Yellow Tails are tad bigger than the Bluegills and Shellcrackers.

Adam's Adventures

that was really cool to see…thx!

Camren de Waard

Thanks for the great video. Any reason you didn't get in the water for some underwater footage? Thanks

Juan Lopez

Its a good life, clean and honest. You will not get wealthy from it, but you get to be out there in that beauty all the time. They are a dying breed. Love to see them keep the tradition going. Miss it everyday. Used to fish out of those docks and haunt those waters a few moons ago. Thank you for bringing light to it and keep it up! Do a crawfish video on opening day craziness! Stone crab too, lots of potential for a lot of content! As always, you my friend, deliver! Thanks and keep it up!

Cecelia Rothwell

Love the perspective, Aaron!

nicks adventures

Nice man real eye opener on commercial yellow tailing

Erik Polmann

Keep up those videos!!👍🏽👊🏽

Chris Kent

Love the channel, was going over so of your videos, and you mentioned shallow water black out. My question too you is, how often does that happen, and is it more likely to happen to first timers or seniors. And what if you are both. Just wanted your opinion. Thanks keep the videos coming.

Shane Gardener

Key west I want to see more of this fishing and more details of the equipment that are use what's the powder thing they are throwing in the water?

Iamdonjuan

Go Jose. If I knew last night you were a “ Fishing God “ I would have had you bless my boat… awesome, clip Aaron . I’m a long time fan. Love your work. Your like a ocean news reporter…. Keep up the great work…

goferizer

Enjoyed this video. The first 40 seconds of it were really cool. No commentary, just building to the day to come. Really cool. If that's not a "Smoker King" as we called them that size growing up in Ormond Beach, I don't know what is.

Jo-el Cody

Underappreciated is a word that was immediate to me. I greatly appreciated the insight sir.

zekeharley

Really cool, the aerial shot @ 13:58 of the shark chasing the fish on the hook.

average_kante

Hey bro I am from Singapore and I only started watching your videos this year as I am cropped up at home more often than I would've liked. You're so down to earth and your content is so enriching.

Mark Beasley

Man, those sharks were relentless. Great shot from the drone. Much respect for those dudes, day in and day out to put fish on the table for folks that can't. As usual, great video Aaron.

PSSKDerby

Great video. I’ve been on a commercial lobster boat a few times off Nova Scotia on nice days. It’s a well oiled machine with a great crew.
The costs associated with commercial fishing are massive and very few people understand how much it takes to make any profit let alone the safety concerns of terrible weather

Sam McVea

Awesome video 📹. Sir. Do some more of them. Thanks for sharing 👍.

Mike Jennings

Great job- gives me good perspective of how hard they work to bring food to our tables.
