The fish go crazy for worms! It
: about time our man got into a rod bending, fish-crunching session and in this episode he takes some free worms another angler gave him,to a fishery hoping to get a predatory Perch in biting mood. The big Perch were notable by their absence but the maestro takes full advantage of the free worms and ends up with a monumental session of fish, and fishing just half a rod length out from the side of the bank! All this action in barely 3 hours of late afternoon fishing. No distance casting with heavy gear, no fancy end rigs, just a hook and a small shot.

For a bite alarm on pegs like this one I have a 3" g-clamp that I have bonded the top of a bank stick onto. Works wonders when you can't get a bank stick into the ground but don't want to unfold the larger rest systems
Great session ! I had a session like that once with method feeder. I caught about 50+ carp (between 3lb – 11lb each) in space of 2 hours. My arms were killing me next day 🙂

Great session but some of those fishes mouths were truly ruined you might like to do a video on the safe handling of fish I know the Korda guys do a great job on this for the bigger fish it would be a great thing for you to do as well Graeme just an idea

Wow! Just proves the point that keeping it simple is still best. No fancy expensive bait, no fancy expensive equipment, no big buckets of groundbait and spods. This is the way I fish. Bread or worms usually is all you need. Great video Graham. Affordable fishing without breaking the bank. You proved it! Wondering how long it will be before commercial fisheries will only allow anglers to use bait purchased from their on site shop??? I'm 72 and in the 50s and 60s fishing was just a sport, now its a multi million pound business! I think I've seen the best times!
