That pump will be plenty for the rack n pinion. It works great for steering. Have one on mine. But it's also not hydroboost. Those pumps also don't like anything over 14v. If you run that truck on 16v you'll need a voltage step down box.

Leave the j in the 240. Build it out to drift and learn to drive in it. No one has a j in a 240 you see ls 2jz sr's and k's in them all the time. Give it what is needed to drift but leave the drive train.
I have a unrelated question: where did you get those inside pieces for the inner tie rods from Wyatt? We have a lifted 04 4×4 Tahoe and I’m sic and tired of replacing the factory inners and outers!!! I know there Somoza y that make them but I can make them for half the price if I had that piece… Thankx in advance I hope what I said made sense…
