I always wondered why its usually just only a few isolated people that report these siting's. You would think that if these vehicles are flying around that millions of people would have witnessed it by now??

3:55 This story is easily found on the inet. It didn't happen a few weeks after the Arnold sighting. It happened in 1952 near Dayton, OH.

It can be easily found:

I have seen about a dozen night launches from Vandenburg AFB over the years and could easily see how anybody could mistake them for UFO activity. The Falcon 9 launch in October 2018 was posted days ahead of time so we drove the 250 miles down to Pismo Beach to watch the launch. The boardwalk where we were is about 30 miles North of Vandenburg. Within days, there were all sorts of videos posted to YT claiming PROOF of UFO's. Here's what I took by cell phone camera which did not properly pick up details like colors and the smoke plume. But skip to 3:16 and see the ''V-shaped trail of flying saucers flying out of the mother ship''. Trust me….it was much better by naked eye.

I was beamed aboard a UFO craft many years ago. They're real.

I've been an avid aicraft nut since my early days. Here's what I saw in 1997. In late 1996 and early 1997 I've been outside a lot in the evenings watching stars, constellations, planets etc… March 9 1997 at 1am was the first unexplained thing I saw – this time just an elongated yellow light that was going through the sky for about a minute in a not-straight path. At first I thought it was a satellite, then I checked it thgough binoculars and it was flying sideways – I thought OK it is a satellite flying sideways. Then it started zigzaging.

Nevertheless next evening I was outside again, March 9 1997 at 21:00, this time a huge object overflew the valley. Object was a black mass that blotted out about a fifth of the sky (arc), it blocked stars as it flew over, on the trailing edge there were 7 dim lights.

I continued observing the sky in the next days, and on March 12 1997 a huge formation of lights overflew the sky. Was about 30+ lights (dots) through which you could see stars on the sky. night was pitch black, good visibility, no fog, no moon, no light pollution. Formation was a bird-shaped symmetrical with one leading light in front, followed by two lights left and right behind of it, then massive formation to the left and right flank. It overflew the entire sky from one horizon over zenith to the other horizon in about 7 seconds. It's not the speed at which flocks of birds fly.

Note to myself: a day earlier (March 11 1997) were the famous Phoenix lights and Phoenix massive object. And I live in central Europe – so this was approx. 15 hours after Phoenix lights, except it was in Europe (I learned about Phoenix lights 1/2 year later in october – at that time I did not know about it).

I continued watching the sky for the next months till fall 1997, I saw two more sightings. Both at end of april 1997.
One was a spectacular low flying formation of fuzzy lights (about 9 of them), not dots – but like streetlights, half-a-moon diameter with a big fuzzy halo around them. Formation was wedge (but filled within with ships betwen left and right wing), and sort of FLUID. I would say it passed over the valley very close to me, as the lights were so big, and it covered half of the sky low on horison in about 5 seconds. What was amazing about this formation was that two lights close to the center of formation (back of formation) RAPIDLY swapped position inside formation twice. It took them like a third of a second to mutually rotate around a point between them two, and swap position (left to right and right to left), and then a good second after THEY DID IT AGAIN – and swapped to original position in formation. The other lights in the formation were also very fluid aorund their position, fluctuating as the formation flew out of sight.

Last fomation was another huge formation of bright triangular shaped craft, quite far away over a large forrest (no towns or light behind there to reflect light off of something). Formation was about 30-40 lights, bigger than stars, with noticable shape, but still small to the eye. They flew over a densly wooded area for about 20 seconds covering about 90° azimuth, low on horizon, far, before disappearing.

After that I only saw another light (summer 2000), thick light with noticable halo, it streaked from west to east over zenith (I was in a reclining chair watching upwards) – it covered entire sky in about 2 seconds. And it was not a meteor – I've seen plenty of those.

So these are the things I will never forget. I would say many more people would see stuff like this, if they spent more time outside. In those years I spent at least two hours each evening (night) watching stars. And it ammounted to what I saw.

@WardCarroll – Great breakdown in a fact based manner, I was wondering if you could talk about the scrapping of the USS Kitty Hawk, and its impact on the reserve fleet, and active fleet

As Mulder and Scully are supposed to have said – The Truth Is Out There! – – But, as a long-time model aircraft flyer, I've spent a lot of time staring at the sky over 50 or so years, and have never seen anything I couldn't identify – that's not to say they weren't there, just not where I was looking!

The idea of an interplanetary spaceship makes sense to the human mind. Nature can do whatever it wants, whether or not it makes sense to the human mind. We live in a biosphere dominated by strong magnetic fields. People used to tell us that "ball lightning" didn't exist. Nobody can tell me that larger phenomena doesn't exist or is completely understood. There could be bacteria that form on magnetic fields, for all we know. Again, it doesn't have to sound realistic or make sense to be real. Reality doesn't have to make sense. Alien interplanetary spaceships is a very specific analog to how human beings would make such a phenomena. Where you have no specific evidence, you cannot give specific explanations.

Before Christmas 2021, the US Govt asked all the world leaders of all the religions, what would happen to society if it was revealed that we are not alone in the Universe.
Only a few news outlets reported this and it was lost in the Christmas holidays.
So Govts know, the truth is about to be revealed. The various govts and religious leaders are working on the way to announce the facts so there is no panic.
IMHO its only because of the internet, the various govts have to show their hand.

Sorry mate, love your channel but UFO's as in Aliens, get outa here dude, try asking a REAL scientist in the field, because SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE is absolutely necessary for such a claim, here is the ACTUAL scientific truth about the latest US pilots claiming such rubbish… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kQQUaXxHEYo

Haven't seen ufos. Me and my girlfriend saw the low cloud cover started flashing dull light at about 120 Hz. A large red disc appeared in front of us. Light dimmed and it diminished to a point.

Hi Ward,
My father is a colleague of yours, although I think from a previous generation. He was a Phantom driver for most of his USAF career, beginning in the late 1960s. When I was a little girl, I must have been 12 or 13 at the time (1996 or 1997), my family and I were camping on Horn Island (one of the barrier islands off the Mississippi coast). One morning, it was right after dawn, we both saw this thing. Couldn't see the object clearly, but it had a red and a bright bluish light. It shot by, pretty low, making a series of abrupt turns, not banks like an airplane would make. The first looked like about 30 degrees, the second more like 60 degrees or a bit more. It was completely silent other than a strange humming noise.

Behind the object, perhaps 10 seconds, were a pair of fighters. My dad said they were F-15s (probably out of Eglin, Air Force Base in Florida), and all you heard was an ear-splitting roar of jet engines. My dad added later, that the fighters were maneuvering with full afterburners. Then the object just disappeared, and the jets sped away. A little while later, there was a series of what sounded like sonic-booms. My mother had told me later on, that he had sometimes talked of "weird stuff" he had seen while flying, but he typically never told anyone except her and close friends.

Sounds like Captain Rupert knew to much so someone gave him a heartache. They were probably afraid he would tell people the truth.

This is a tough subject to discuss. Of course there are UFOs, flying objects which are not identified. Most of us will see something in our lives which we cannot explain, in the sky or on the ground. But for some reason people always immediately leap to the highly unlikely conclusion that what was seen was some kind of extraterrestrial vehicle or alien phenomenon. Space is just too big for that to be the likely case. Personally, I find it far scarier to imagine that the Hornet pilots saw some advanced craft made and operated by, say, the air forces of China or Russia, someone far more likely to do harm than space aliens, who are apparently only interested in advanced colonoscopy techniques.

Question I have: why does this seem to only happen in the US? Are there other sightings around the world that we don't hear about?
