It's called sharing the road and be courteous to each other we all doing the same thing just the owner operator is under more pressure because this is a business to them it's just a job for the company driver
Yeah and what’s crazy when a driver sees you coming up behind them knowing their cruising at 62 – 65 and you’re doing 68 . Then speed up when you get close and do their max speed at 66 – 68 slowing traffic down on a two lane road . Now everyone is looking at you and some people will break check you not knowing it’s the other drivers fault.
Some drivers don't want to give up that spot. 😒 Especially cause I'm a Swift driver and a woman so I'm guessing he wasn't about to be passed up by a girl and a swift (double shame) lol.
Had truckers try to run me off the road on a highway , all while my 3 grandbabies were asleep in back and my daughter seizuring in the front . They boxed me in . We are doin 70 . I couldn't speed up or slow down because of those 3 trucks. I kept putting my hand up to wave and beg them to stop. Finally the truck on the left if me sped up and the truck behind me moved over. I honestly think the truck to the left saw what was happening in my car and backed off. I don't know, but I know there are mean ass truckers out there.
I wish more drivers would ise their mirrors – know who is behind and beside you! I had a trucker come flying up behind me I-80, he then started to pull into fast lane – inches off my a$$. Prpblem was, Audi suv was in that lane – he nearly killed people due to poor planning and being a bad driver! Yes, I used to drive otr. Poor planning on your part should not be a death wish for the rest of us (including fellow truck drivers!). Be safe, respectful, smart, and keep the rubber side down.
Back in the day drive a gutless freight truck over the mountain one of the old timers told me how to get rid of the pain when you get one of them gutless Detroit just slam your hand in the door.
Truck can only do 65 so I put it at about 60 and stay in granny lane so everyone else can pass as needed. Do 60 so if happen to roll up on someone going slower have just a little bit extra to pass without taking forever. Except for those bungholes that speed up right when am trying to pass, I hate those guys…
