Public Service Announcement to all L.A. City Boys with 4×4 trucks: Leave the low-profile wheels and tires on the street. There is a reason the real 4-wheelers always use balloon-ish mud tires with smaller/proportionate wheels. You get better side-wall performance in mud/snow/sand/rock/roots with balloon-is tires. The low-profile tires have very little sidewall. They also do not allow for airing down in snow/mud/sand without blowing off the bead (rim). The giant city rims also collect mud and impair rotation/torque in the bad stuff. You don't need TSL/Boggers, but you do need a good sidewall and some good tread. Leave the "shields" for the Monte Carlos and street-dedicated Escalades, not a 4×4, lifted truck. You need to test your equipment/gear before you need it. Form follows function. Just because you have a truck does not mean it is as tough as the commercials that the salesmen told you it could handle. Also, after that deep of mud, check your differentials. They have air vents that can allow water/crud inside that can damage the differentials.
If he has the nasicly required regear(to fix toyotas problem of too tall gears from factory) to lower gears that fixes the transmission shifting fiasco he would have gotten out even easier lol
When the reporter told the tundra driver “just don’t do it again” I would have been like “why the hell not? You don’t tell me what to do! If I want to play in the mud then I’ll play in the mud! Gosh Darn it! Who you think you are? Gee Quiest!”
Yes, that boot would have absolutely solve the car-mud situation… Jesus christ
oh my god just get an aussie with a 79 they will make that in 3 seconds
That reporter is extraordinarily punchable
It would be funny if the guy in the big rig had another crack at getting threw, just needs more speed bud😉
He’s just playing
I honestly didn’t listen to anything that dude was saying. I was rooting for the Toyota the whole time
What a looser. Definitely do it again. Just need more speed

Just Mother Nature trying to wash the trash out to see.

Where the g 63 at?
Way to represent the Toyota community! It would be cool if Toyota reached out and gave him a new gen tundra
I think he can make it with a little speed
Seems like a nice reporter
That’s a walk in the park for a Land Cruiser, without any upgrades
he should have kept going, he almost had it. Maybe a different linr, eithout two in the gutter.
Move outta' the way and let that Range Rover show you how it's done…..
You have to try that shit if you have a 4×4 and set on you
If he has the nasicly required regear(to fix toyotas problem of too tall gears from factory) to lower gears that fixes the transmission shifting fiasco he would have gotten out even easier lol
Tundra just needed some locking differentials
He couldn’t get through cause he didn’t air down
He couldn’t get through cause he didn’t air down
As a turd-gen Taco owner, I’m proud of that Tundra owner for not giving up
A recovery from the rear would make more sense than going over that soup. IH8MUD Yota life !
" what not to do in a mudslide. " you can tell this news anchor didn't lose his virginity till 30.
why still saying "natural disaster"???
How embarrassing, I guess all them gear queers learn the hard way. 😂
I think he would made it through in reverse with all the weight not being in the front

The truck is to heavy. A tacoma would have done better.
