If we had to rank entanglements by severity, any entanglement attached to two or more seals would be on top of the list. Entangled seals are stressed out, vulnerable, and often in immense pain. Being tied to another seal impacts their mobility. Their primal instinct is to try and break away, even if they strangle the other seal in the process. Seals can often survive for a few weeks or months with their entanglement, but they have no chance if another seal is attached. Within a few days or hours, they will perish. Most of them will not even make it back to the beach, and they will die at sea.

From the teamwork to the plan of attack, to the catch, to the seal biting Wally, to the release and seeing both seals flippering their way back into the ocean and you all running off for another save…this was like an almost 4 minute action movie!
