Great !
I miss Phil already.
Son of Bonham on the drums .👈
Paul Chapman was great.but Vinnie in my opinion bought out the true UFO message great vocals and schenker like guitar which was there calling card
Not Andy Parker, that is Jason"Bonzo Jr." Bonham
Vinnie Moore is much better than Paul Chapman !
"I was down in Corpus Christi picking up the slack" , I remember when they were here. I wonder if he wrote that line due to the fact that they were opening for Triumph but those guys were stuck in Dallas because of weather and UFO picked up the slack and played for about 3 hours, I think that was 83 or 84.
Awesome. Does anyone have a guitar tab or chord chart or whatever for this? Haven't been able to find a complete one anywhere. Have a shitty ear so can't figure it out by myself.
Only cut so far with UFO to capture the pure excellence of Vinnie Moore's neoclassical style and versatility. Outstanding mix, song and cut. TURN HIM UP!!
fuckin' hair stands up on the back of my neck @ 3:42 the power in this arrangement is OFF THE PLANET!
I made a Video of my trip to the Ranch an put this song in the background is so good, It is written on the Wall "Looking for the Wild on", she was gone right in20 seconds in front my eyes!.
UFO has always been my favorite band. "strangers in the night" is probably the best album of all time. Yes Mogg kept them going no matter what . No matter who was in the band it was always UFO because Mogg is UFO
OrpheuslsThe1: Buy "You are Here". You won't want to remove it from your DVD player. I was a teen in the Schenker era, so I know that it's hard to let go of that. But Michael moved on to other things, and Phil Mogg kept on going with UFO through thick and thin, which is so amazingly admirable. Give "You are Here" a spin. Enjoy.
Much prefer them with the legendary Michael Shenker, who was an amazing guitarist. They had a harder sound with him I feel. Now all you new style UFO fans are gonna shoot me down aren't you. LOL.
+Try their first album from the 70's, Beginnings. It is so different from their 80's music like doctor doctor and lights out in london etc. But it is still brilliant. A smattering of very well done covers on that album too.
Pure hard rock!!!
