Stop walking into stealerships and bending over y'all. That little clown truck is worth $25k at best.
Holy crap ! That price ! No way man, that's a non starter right there. It's past time for many guys to learn how to turn wrenches. Resurrect the older trucks boys.
Appreciate TFL for the great series idea, but even $38k for this truck is disturbingly expensive for what you are getting. The industry needs to change.
$41,000 is cheap 😂
Brand new and cheap trucks don’t go in the same sentence
It might look like a stubby truck, but actually it isn't much shorter than a quad cab.
The name should be Stubby!
Ford has to be alot cheaper. I bought a 22 f250 with the 6.2 put every option I could on a xl with crew cab 4×4 only paid 45000
Drive. Carefully!
I’d rather have the v8 with the steel wheels
So you bought a 41000 piece of crap and you try to make it sound good with the options that does nothing for no one. This crap box should only be sold for maybe 20000. For crying out loud it has a mini van engine in it. If the public would stop paying these high prices for all the crappie vehicles they try to sell us the market will go down because there will be no demand for them. What a turd.
You said it “Stubby” good name
Stubbs
Idaho!!!
As an Asian, I’m going to die of laughing.😂
My favorite series from TFL is the “Final Frontier”. Great to see some base model trucks back on the channel!
Can I have it if you guys give it away?
$37k for that? Seems insane. I'd assume that thing would be around $25-27k new
In 2019 my new shape Rebel with most options cost me 38900….
Stubby
put a lift and a topper on it
Bedliner doesn't make sense. People do it so the paint doesn't chip or dent(which it still does)…. So people cover it with black sandpaper…. Really it's smarter to do right before you sell it if you're worried about resale
Did you at least grab your ankles when they bent you over??
If I want a POS truck, that's what I would buy. Junk.
Ya but it's a dodge, v6 one of the worst engines made.
Why not just call it "The Stubby" or "Stubster"?
I bought a new 2007 4×4 Thunder Road Quad Cab V8 non-Hemi in 2007 for approximately $35k. Later, I bought a new 2016 Crew Cab Tradesman 2WD V6 in 2016 for appropriately $30k. Prices are ridiculous now! Wowsers!
How much extra would an 8’ bed cost? 6’ beds are useless for a work truck
The 'Ghost!'
You know the reason autos are so expensive is because the buyer is being charged for employees union retirement!!
That truck didn't cost $10,000.
to build??
What a waste of money
I find what you call "work trucks" are usually "for the boys" trucks. Where you providing trucks for others to use. Business owners and working guys would always choose an upper trim, since we practically live in these trucks more then our home sometimes.
I like
If I had the money I would buy one of these and a power wagon and swap everything out because a power wagon should be a regular cab, short bed!!!
I remember in 2019, I was looking at a 2018 4 door 1500 going for $25k. It’s frightening to me that Ram could get away with selling the old generation truck for 40k by slapping the 2022 year and calling it Classic!
says 2022 ram 1500 then proceeds to show a 4th gen
You guys have danced around comparing it to the Little Red Truck. I think Ram should slap the 510hp hurricane six into them. Build some step side beds and make the few parts needed for the conversion and sell them as 2WD little Red Trucks and 4 wd Warlocks. Keep the interiors and old instrumentation and make them as low cost as possible. Maybe set a goal of under 50K and make them the lower income persons TRX equivalent. That would really mess with Ford and GM and maybe cool off some of the people upset about the Hemi being discontinued. Not all of the Mopar loving base is made out of money. Some of us love the no frills all about low cost go old school Mopar mentality!
Even the cheapest trucks are expensive I don't know a how people pay for a truck when the prices are so high one day people will say good run I am broke
Truck sales are gonna fall like the Roman Empire very shortly.
