Maybe people want to get married but don’t want the government involved in it from what I understand common law Marriage pretty much gets rid of that which seems unjust and is just an excuse to get a divorce settlement t doesn’t seem right that if a couple decides that they don’t want the government involved in their marriage that it isn’t honored and that one party can change that at any time and don’t say that they could just get a prenup because those are routinely thrown out so what options are there
