"Children are sexual beings". Pardon? I beg to differ.
This is the crux of the issue. Do liberals have the right to decide what children are – and, by extension, how they should be educated – or is that the parents' responsibility?
The two ladies here are both showing a very liberal bent, assuming that sex education is good and just disputing the age at which it should start.
It's a shame, because it prevented the real issue from being discussed – who owns children, the parents or the state.

If teachers are not equipped or are uncomfortable teaching this stuff so outside providers are required, surely that rings a massive alarm bell that this stuff is not suitable to being taught to children?
The solution is to enforce the law. If those responsible don't, sack them and get someone in place who will.
I don't think the state is the best institution to teach "consent". Especially as they force people to learn about "consent".
Copy right is nonsense here, the school is purchasing materials from private institutions to present to our children, the money the school utilises is gained from taxation.
If I ask to see the curriculum content that I have in part paid for, I'm going to god damn see it, principle for two reasons.
One, I want to satisfy myself that it's appropriate in terms of age and in terms of its function the end goal of the materiel.
Two, I want to ensure that whatever teachers are teaching has oversight from elected representatives, if a teacher starts discussing topics not on the curriculum how can I challenge this if I have no knowledge of the classroom content or the curriculum to compare the two.
Sexualising kids is plain wrong & critical thinking skills stopped being taught sometime ago! I'd be home educating 100%.

Melanie Phillips has revealed a shocker: 'Britain’s Quality Assurance Agency, which describes itself as “the independent body entrusted with monitoring and advising on standards and quality in UK higher education,” has told universities to decolonise their courses in mathematics, computing and other subjects. The QAA says computing courses should address how “hierarchies of colonial value” are “reinforced” in the field. In geography, it thinks courses should acknowledge “racism, classism, ableism, homophobia and patriarchy”. Biomedical sciences students should “critically engage” with how the field has “contributed to and benefited from social injustice” and how influential scientists might have “benefited from and perpetuated misogyny, racism, homophobia, ableism and other prejudices”. Mathematics courses should present “a multicultural and decolonised view of mathematics, statistics and operational research, informed by the student voice”.
We need a genuine right of centre party, with balls, to hand down a handful of very long prison sentences, for political indoctrination, racism and child abuse in schools. Then we can end the catastrophic effects of the far left long march through our institutions, without threatening the human rights of the majority and having to fire all the current teachers while we train up new ones.
5 or 6 teachers doing 10 years each, in a real prison, for using queer theory and CRT in school, will snuff it out.

No wonder homeschooling is on the rise. The stuff they are indoctrinating the kids with is for 16+ & 18+ in some areas in line with age of consent. From what you are telling us they’re definitely sexualising children. It stinks of grooming kids. What is there end goal ?

Boundry crossing is an essential tenet of this world view. Crossing personal boundries is inevitable, intentional, taught, and rewarded. Hard to imagine content from this world view teaching anyone about consent or the importance of healthy personal, emotional, and physical boundaries.
We should call this out for what it is because usually only one particular type of adult wants to share sexual things with children and keep that secret from the child's parents. If you excuse me I need to place a bulk order for red flags to cover this segment!!
