My friend Gavin was on his a way to a fishing trip when his tire exploded and left him stranded in the wilderness far from phone service or any help. He finally got a ride to the nearest town and called me to get his car. So I took my sneaker tow truck up and got it loaded on the Collins Dollies for the trip back home

On today's episode of, Casey can't figure out technology…. YES, the sound sucks, and I'm very well aware of it. I've never owned an actual camera before and I'm still trying to figure out how to use it. This camera has actual "settings" that have to be adjusted depending on the environment and the use of external microphones, which I was using in this video. Unfortunately I'm still trying to figure out how to use the settings and completely screwed them up in this video. Remember, I never said I was good at this…
Awwww … I wanted to see you pick up Riley … and go do father stuff ..
Ended the video way too soon !!!
I like how you tuck in your tail your straps I've been doing that for many years
Cheers Casey.
Hi Casey, both dolly crossbars appear to be slightly bent ! Are they designed like that or have you ‘MODIFIED’ them ?
(Don’t know what happened to the word modified in first comment, so I’ve tried again) 👍

Our Chevy Cruz had the same flat and we are elderly, stuck us in the Mountains 75 miles from home, no cell service, did not know we didn't have a spare!!! Next time we are calling Casey!!!!
Why not just bring another wheel for the hybrid?
Glad you thought of Riley. Get time with her!
My Prius had a donut spare and lug wrench and a jack, don’t think I ever used it
thows are great for doing repos
Casey, have you thought about installing a manual locking hub conversion on the front end of your Dodge RAM 3500 Cummins? We had them installed on our 2006 3500 Mega-Cab Cummins last year…what a difference, especially in mileage too.
Best part was watching you wait for traffic to go by!
Amazing. I know of several cars that should have spares
Why is one of those sneaker bars looking bent??
What about the hernia surgery after the winter tow season??
Gas station 🐔? 🤔 😬😬
So a mechanic bought a car and didn't even check out if it had a spare? If it did, it'd probably be flat since he never bothered to look for one to begin with.
I seen you do that tail tuck on another video and I started trying and iv never had a tail come loose since. Has saved me some straps thanks for the tip
my 2013 Malibu came with an air compressor and that was it.
I'd have driven that out on the rim. Light FWD vehicle like that; sacrifice a rim and done.
Thanks Casey. ✌🏻
So cool buddy i like that
Mechanics work on everyone else's junk all day everyday. We really don't want to wrench on our own junk afterwards.
My Cobalt came with the same no spare, no jack configuration. My first accessory was a trip to the junk yard to procure those items. I'm not going to drive across WY without a spare! If I HAD AAA, it would be a 3 hour wait for them to reach me.
Why didn't someone just locate a spare tire on a wheel and change the flat tire and drive home?
There's actually a lot of newer vehicles sold without a spare to save weight. Even if you do have a spare, it's probably a compact temporary one.
I ordered myself an extra rim and mounted one of the good old tires on it when I got some new ones. Had to rearrange the space where the factory spare used to be, but it was worth it. I drive 400 miles a week. A full size spare allows you to not worry about it if you need to use it long distance.
The ease you put your round peg into a square hole never stops amazing me. 🙂
Cmon lol
That area is cursed I got 2 flats in one night right there on my way to lapine. Changed the first then the spare popped about a quarter mile down the road.
Not trying to be a smart ass, but why not take a spare and tools, and change it on the side of the road??
Haha I'm surprised Gavin didn't expand into situation more…
Gavin's friend Matt flew out here from Pennsylvania so Gavin took the week off and that fishing trip was supposed to be the highlight of their vacation! Bummer!
Really glad that blow out didn't turn into him wrecking the car or worse!
Thanks for saving the Elite Fleet crew once again Casey, love ya man!
The Chevron with the "good chicken". Which one is that? We always eat at Black Bear Diner when passing through Madras, but might want something quicker some time 🙂
Comment
Should have hooked the front first then put 2 jack stands at the jack points then lowered the front of the car the the rails would be easier loaded and dollies raised up and ready to go then raise front on the rails move the jack stands and that's it
i love those dollies, i need to find some fer my wrecker
