Rich white girl SUV
Out west replace Natty Bo with Natty Light and its just as accurate.
My aunt had one of these, the stereotype describes her perfectly.
“Like a bushwacker in a Royal Rumble” really hit home for me
That intro is EPIC 😂
🚘😄💯👍
Villanova sounds like someplace you go if you can't get into the ivy league or Michigan
This was such a good video and very true in so many ways.
I remember when I was 12 I used to think these things were cool. They're meh now. Really the only Mercedes I actually like is any S class from any year, and the SLK coupes or the SL55 AMG. So yeah not very many. Oh and G Wagons are cool, however I feel at though it's just an overpriced Jeep engineered by Mercedes.
I always thought the GLK was ok but this just cemented how sad it kinda is. I guess I can’t talk down on it too much since I drive an old S class but at least my sad old car still pampers and feels kinda special. Compared to other small suvs of it’s time things could be worse.
The new GLB240 looks pretty trick.
I’m a mechanic and own one as my family hauler. They’re really good cars, I think the GLC was a downgrade. They’re relatively reliable and easy to work on. The only issues I had was the idler pulley broke off (which was a simple 5 min repair), the the tailgate release motor doesn’t work but I never bothered fixing it as I barely load the back and I own other cars to use if I have to.
Finally! A shout-out to Erie, PA in one of your videos!
Ah. the app that'll ding you for hard acceleration. I love our ever-faster slide into dystopia.
Looks like his brother.
As someone who worked as a full service gas attendant for 4 years, I can confirm that this is the preferred car for Karen.
This car is the definition of “You want to get the attention you lack but you actually won’t get? Own this!”
Bland. German, and bland. Like gold sprinkled cornflakes.
Does it really need premium? My hand me down G35 sedan was supposed to use premium but broke, college me never did.
Is this early DI from Merc? I do bring this up in casual conversations, this is 'one' of the few Mercs I would buy myself. The other ones are mostly 96-02 era.
him saying 4Motion leaves a vw vibe. i like
Honestly, I wouldn’t guess this was a 2010. I think it’s one of few timeless boring design cars.
He has that State Farm beacon
I would divorce him in two seconds
The official car of snap chatting and driving. Watched a girl fly through a red light leaving my college. That would’ve been the last time I rode a motorcycle but thankfully I waited just a little bit longer. Still left a bite mark on the seat though
Favorite song yet Roman ❤
Way better than the glc that replaced it
Tbh I remember seeing one of these in the era it was new and thinking it looked nice, like better than most other comparable crossovers of that time
I have an ML350, and whenever I see the GLK350s, I yawn. I sit above them. I reign superior.
Merc GLK350's or a BMW X3's are bought by people who are wilfully ignorant of cars, devoid of even the slightest appreciation of beauty and design, and so shallow and simple minded that their entire thought process when choosing the vehicle came down to 'Big Expensive Luxury Car = Good Car That Impress Everyone & Show How Rich I Am.'
Thank you for the video of the lovely corgi
The fact my neighbor has this white watching this video is so ironic to me.😂
Got one of these out of need. For an overvalued used market – especially for "compact, 4 wheel drive" vehicles, you get a lot of bang for your buck. And, I like the inoffensive boxy look of it! When they did face lift, HP went up to 300. Steering switched to full fly-by-wire, but the feedback is surprisingly firm.
Huh. I wasn't expecting this. I think the GLK deserved the Geo Metro treatment. "What if we look at this car on its merits, disregarding all the connotations?" To me, it's an affordable, solid, practical car with timeless looks. Think first gen CR-V. You can make fun of it all you want, but the size and shape are optimized, the price is good, and it does its job well without any fanfare. I guess I live in an area desensitized to "luxury" brands, so we don't see it as trying to pose as some kind of fake rich person's car.
I rode in a GLK Uber once…the suspension felt like it was made from corundum, the seats from wood, and all the vibrating plastics looked…like cheap plastic. Why??
This guy is awesome. I knew it; but he keeps getting better.
I still use MP3-CDs.
