I took test drive of the tigor ev, as he said if you expect ev level performance you will be highly disappointed, but it has the performance of the old indica in drive mode and decent petrol hatch in sports mode.
I was in the market looking for a small diesel automatic, im not a big fan of amt, and just like he mentioned thats where the pricing made sense, if you compare it with a petrol tiago it may be twice as expensive but when you start looking for an automatic city car, it checks all the boxes and makes for a practical choice.

It was mentioned 8yrs warranty for battery and 3 yrs for the vehicle does that mean the electric motor has 3 yrs warranty only ?

TATA is really doing good 👍

Bill46Lexis

Rolling back down even on a not-so-steep road is a deal breaker.

Anonymous Seeker

Mileage is very very less

Vivek Sharma

Aaaaa, that long antenna upon the Tiago Ev ruins the car's aesthetics.

abhishek khanande

5 star tata 👍

MrHowMuch

Tata should definitely make it’s come back to South Africa 🇿🇦

Tata can disrupt the automobile market in India if it launches EV at 4-5 lakhs. But competitiors would not allow that to happen. Even government might not permit as many automotive associated industries will suffer.
Use of Public transport in city is better to save fuel.

Finally! Someone removed the spare tyre
The spare is mostly useless in modern cars as that tire itself loses pressure when it is lying in the boot.
So on the day when you actually will plan to use the spare tyre – you cannot use it without a tyre inflator
And if you already have a tyre inflator, you can just use it on the punctured tyre and that can easily run enough till the nearest puncture guy

😂😂😂 … let me tell you the reason

This is not a EV that is designed to be an EV … it’s an inefficient ICE car!!
Honestly, it’s very sad to see Tata is doing the same mistake as Ford, GM, etc.

Vinay M

Evs are not future Till next 20 years, the cost of replacing battery is as expensive as cost of car and one Battery can run max upto 1,00,000 lakh km in real life whreras petrol cars and diesel engines can run upto 5 lakhs km if maintain well and do not need to change any engine.

Be Aware- Companies are fooling u by saying EV is eco Frindly and cheap running cost.

I am a huge TATA Fan and a Altroz user.

Cost cutting for the spare tire is not appreciated at all. Sorry TAMO.

PMASPHX

They should have gone for the skateboard platform

Hitul Angrish

Please launch it in Australia

Very good product from TATA with a solid build quality. Kudos. This will save a lot of money for commuters.

jibran mujawar

not even close to what they said 350km and they just got 193km.

Taranshu Pattnaik TP

Tata Motors has nailed it with the Tiago EV, most affordable electric car to go on sale.

Anish Biswas

The best city car ever made (either fossil fuels or EV) considering all the relevant parameters. Tata really needs to present this on the global platform.

Hari

It could be a city only car, or a second car. Definitely can't be the only and primary car, unless EV infra is in place all over the country.

joseph braithwaite

I'm sorry to ask this but what is the real world range for the top variant? I did check the video but ARAI claims 315KM.

Govind Pilla

190 km is good enough

karthik cs

2:46 no not for that..
Why they have 12 v battery because there car electicals are not optimised to run on high voltage…
See the example of Tesla, they don’t use 12v battery in there car, Tesla optimised all electrical items to run high voltage..

Kiran Jetty

what is the expecting price of this vehicle, if they could fit the same motor in Altroz would be better i think…

sanjay kumar singh

It will revolutionize the EV segment. Expect to sell 4-5k pm initially

Tata should consider making a longer estate/Prius shape rear end.

Clean aero efficiency is important for high speeds, add the boot space makes it even more competitive.

We need these cars in Europe.
Small cars are vanishing, affordable electric cars are rare.

Tejas Nopany

video tip: would like to see a car if the month as in price to _ ratio.

Gagan Singh

Alto petrol is a best city car with fuel efficient at reasonable price. No EV stations in small cities. EV charging is a time consuming vehicles. Battery replacement at 50 cent of car price. EV vehicles are not value for money.

Satyajeet Bhuyan

Once having a car @ 1lakh was a dream, but Tata did that! Now when all thought getting an EV below 10L was a dream, now Tata did that too.

jayanth jio

I cant believe 9L car is considered budget vehicle. Crazy

A.K Kumar

EVs can change our Tan..Man..Dhan growth ambitions…Experiencing this with our NexonEV since 2021….

Wish the New Year support more to experience this change of the future……

IB P.r

Slowly shrinking ICE engines and Slowly growing EV's🤗🤗🤗

jewel Deka

Indians needs to thank TATA Motors for bringing this masterpiece. Appreciate that we have such an amazing practical electric car at this price point. The Koreans and the Japanese would have overpriced their products if they had any in this segment and we would have not questioned them because obviously they are foreign brand whereas TATA is our own local brand. Typical colonial mindset.

Reality Media

From 315km to 190km? Very disappointing, would've atleast expected 250km

Saunak Baishya

Nice car

Vyshak Reghukumar

I'm currently apprehensive of the overall EV space right now. The technology is pre-mature and expensive. It is too early to understand the longevity of this technology. Charging infrastructure is also scarce.
Having said that, I am excited to see Tata excel with their EV portfolio, and I am looking forward to more exciting products from them. I am also eagerly looking forward to see how the Sodium-ion and hydrogen technology evolve as alternatives to ICE and EV.

kosti narain

More OLA lol less city car

Vineet Kumar

It's Indian, firstly not cheap in price as Tesla is, our ecosystem isn't accepting EV's at all, Overpriced and entry level.

NETKE

Expensive

rakmanbaba

Stretch ur budget and get a Nexon EV instead if u don't want to be bored out of ur 1st EV experience

Nipun M loves to travel😍

Eagerly waiting for Tata Nano EV in a new avatar….looks of which we have seen as Tata Pixel or Tata Megapixel…it will be a complete game changer and rock the automobile industry!!

Krishna Singh

Lord Tiago gained huge respect again from Indian costumers.

ARAVINTH PS

Makes so much sense for Indian customers. Specs that are just right. Priced very well too.
