I had a lot of fun making this video! I know it's a bit random, but it's nice to change things up and try something new. Thank you for watching 💚
Thanks for letting me know on the Big Agnes lights I'm about to buy that that's awesome
Hey Amanda, I have the same pillow as your old faithful and I’ve washed my a ton! I just throw it in the washer with some other things and toss it in the dryer and it comes out like new. I think I read somewhere that the dryer helps the loft of the little foam bits in the pillow. 🙂
What a fun video!! Thank you so much for all the info and inspiration you give us everytime! I've been watching your channel for the past year and you've been the best resource! So empowered, I went on my first solo camping trip this summer…and my second trip! 😄 Had been camping years ago but only with groups.
I gotta say, your Camp Cooking Starter Kit via email is GOLD!! 🌟 Tip: don't skip anything on Amanda's Camp Cooking Essentials list… I speak from experience! 🤣 Love that we can add our own items to your checklist! Think I might laminate mine once finalized. 💞
Good informational video.
Red light doesn't mess up your night vision, so for the purpose that would be the color to go with.
The pocket chainsaw is for small diameter branches only
I can’t thank you enough for your Chanel. I love watching your videos for hiking and cooking motivations. I’ve never camped before (I am terrified of spiders) so that fear has kept me from ever camping. But I am working myself up to go camping for the first time ever. I’m gonna do it! Thank you
great video. 13 years is a long time
I love your videos! I'm so glad I found you! I use Epicurean cutting boards at home. They are THE BEST!! Can't wait for your next video! I think I'll be ordering those lights. They look awesome.
Great video, thank you 😊
Love your videos! Just so you know with your old pillow you can throw the whole thing in the wash and dryer!! I’ve done it after every trip and the pillow is still good as new
Amanda I love your videos,, camping , cast iron goodies and all .. Plus you remind me of one of my daughter's ONLY she doesn't go camping unless her husband rents a camper.. Thank you Frank from montana..PS.. More cast iron things please. Thank you..
The chainsaw is wrapped around small branches and pulled back and forth by one person. I don't think using it on a stump is what it was designed for, but in a pinch it could be?
Great reviews! I often wondered about the Big Agnes string lights. They look awesome. Putting them in my shopping cart. I'm a pillow snob. Still looking for the PERFECT pillow. May have to give the klymit pillow a try. As far as the cutting board, I think you should make a Amanda outside cutting board with the tree logo and offer for sale. I'd buy one. Just saying. Great video. 👍🏕
Good review. Curious about 2 things:
1. Do you like your small camping chair as used in this video? If so would you share the link?
2. Why not use a small bedroom pillow? Genuinely curious, I started using an older small bedroom pillow for my car camping, maybe I need to look into a camping specific pillow?
Thanks for your fun and beautiful videos!
I am so excited about an unboxing.
"Made in the USA, that's always good." 👍
The Tempe thermometer device only broadcasts to the watch approximately every minute. When you access the widget, the delay in temperature reading is dependent on the Tempe next broadcast. No temperature reading will be shown until then; the watch did not lose the connection. In my experience, it could take up to 2 minutes for a reading after widget access .
As a side note: please have Nick use a monopod. The micro wobbles, in the vlog, is noticeable.
Epicurean cutting boards are amazing! Hadn’t thought of them for camping, we use them all the time at home. Dishwasher safe and so low maintenance.
Pocket chainsaw into the trash it goes.
Second!
