We enter our 4th day of cross-country motorcycle travel and camping. We are itching to make our way to Wyoming, the Cowboy State. But before we get there we stumble upon Nebraska’s answer to Stonehenge. This is something of a car lover’s dream – Carhenge outside of Alliance, NE – a unique, quirky eclectic collection of old cars displayed in a farmer’s field.

I stopped at that rest area on the way to and from Sturgis. Both times there were people who had climbed to the top of the rock.
hi Guys and gals …why don't you use your trailer? i have one from Bushtec and it is amazing
There is a Stonehenge on the Columbia river in Washington St. near where highway 97 cross the river.
I missed something. Why aren't you using the camper ?
Are you all re-thinking getting rid of the motorcycle trailer. I would love to hear your thoughts on loading the Harley versus pulling the trailer.
Y’all miss Ruby yet?
Put on an evaporative wet vest under your mesh jacket and stay cool riding in 100+ temperatures. Works for me.
I am in the middle of trip left NYC went to Houston to see my kids now making my way to Florida to see friends and get to Biketoberfest. 2200 miles so far. Just stopped in Alabama. For the night. Stay safe
Amazes me on how much you two pack on the bikes.
Enjoying the show keep on motoring
I have never rode through Wyoming that I didn't have to fight the wind, but it's beautiful country
Chris, How about a review on your Triumph, so far? i have the 1200 Tiger
Weebles wobble but they don’t fall down. Chin up wheels down.
Just road across NE on the Sand Hills Scenic Byway. Beautiful ride with low traffic. The steady parade of UP coal trains were good company. Highly recommend the ride!
Awesome trip guys! I love watching your videos. When you were talking about the rock straps, where do I purchase them? Be careful!
Yep love the start up of a Harley. Great video. Hate those uh ohs. Thanks for the info. Why wouldn’t you share the temps? Nice to know what you are going through.
Had another friend of mine who is a truck driver stopped there at Independence this last summer and climbed upon the rocks.
Well like our early pioneers we crossed paths at independence rock.
Carhenge is a scale replica, only with cars. WE visited it in June on our trip to the Ozarks (my video is here: https://youtu.be/S78DuAe_–Y). And, if you get to Goldendale, Washington (Off I-84 and Washington SR-14) there is another Stonehenge replica built as a war memorial .
Lovely vlogs from a lovely couple,, good luck.
It is a little late now but have you tried the cooling vests? Maybe you have in an older video.
Nice job on the videos. Interesting part of the country. Many don't realize that!
With all the Stonehenge stuff, you may want to check out the Stonehenge Memorial near Maryhill, Washington, one day.
Love your show Finally came through my state Wyo Lander area is where i camp
Ah Mokee Dug way my favorite place
Looks like I’m going to give ROC straps a try. I see them available on Amazon. Thanks for the recommendation.
SUUUUPER 🙌
Been to Car Henge, it's Very Cool! 😎 I stayed at Fort Casper, nice place to stay. Great Video And Thanks For Sharing My Friend!
I don't suppose you two ever got any sleep in that railroad Campground? If you didn't, I know how you feel. My girlfriend wanted to stay in a bed and breakfast in skykomish WA. (or was it snoqualmie?) where the trains would come by literally just feet away from the B & B, every 30 minutes. Needless to say we didn't get ANY sleep.
You missed regester cliff it's next to the little town called Guernsey wy .might be something you would be interested in checking out…
Hi…… enjoy your times and enjoy us with you I have one question regarding the gasoline which picks spend more you or him thanks 🙏 keep it up 👍 ❤
Welcome to Wyoming! Yes Chris, I do that all the time. I try to wait till almost the last minute to pack the bike till everything is down, folded up and in iin its bags. I guess as you probably have "a place for everything and everything in its place.
I do like the rok straps also but way back before I found them I was using a set of ratchet straps and on occasion they saved my bacon. Getting a tow truck ride after hitting a deer but driver didnt have anything to tie me down with. Another time I got stuck in the mountains, alone, where the straps hooked end to end and ratchet pulled me out of the hole I was in. They come in handy.
Meanwhile I am as always enjoying your adventures. Keep those videos coming!
I can let you know about several awesome rides around Spokane Wa. Some short 1 hour, some 6-7 hour. all beautiful.
Seldom does a motorcycle encounter anything aside from a dang crosswind. Now and again you get a major headwind, but seldom ever see a tail wind.
Be careful getting in the sprinklers at the rest areas. Many times the water is the "treated" wastewater from the aerobic on-site sewage facility (septic system) being used to water the landscaping.
I'm a Railroad-brat! U.P.R.R. FOR LIFE BABY!!!!!
"We discussed this." Heh.
You must have camped up on top of South Pass and back in at Louie Lake, correct? Back down at the bottom of the mountain and going west of Lander is a place called Sinks Canyon where the small river disappears into the mountain and comes back out near Lander. May want to mark that for next time.
Poor little Valiant on Car-Hinge. I'm always looking for Military Museums in my travels. Rat's — Willeys pickup…
What website do you use for the "call-ahead" campgrounds? (please forgive an "older fella" if you've already mentioned the website)
I've learned to look for altitude when it get's hot. Oowanah lake near Moab, Lee Canyon near Las Vegas.
This last August we rode from Tennessee to Colorado.. we left St. Joseph Mo. and rode highway 36 ( Pony Express Highway) all the way to Wray Co. it looks just like NE in this video. So I can relate to your thoughts about that ride.
Tons of inscriptions on the top of independence rock and all over it otherwise. It’s a cool spot. I’m glad you guys headed for elevation.
At the very beginning there is a slide in the background. Did you try it?
There’s Bamahenge near Orange Beach, AL.
if those fences are for the snow collecting on the road wouldn't they be facing the other way
That was funny getting wet with the sprinkler. Did that while I was delivering mail for 34 years during the summer in Oklahoma. I'm retired now I just stay in the air condition house lol. Safe journeylove you videos keep it up
The water from those sprinklers might be gray/black water recycled from the rest area. Akin to a trucker pissing on you. Be careful.
What bike is Chris riding?
61 here in Kentucky today…..huggzzz yall Good advice Rich.
Please be careful don’t over do it
