BYD, the Chinese automobile brand, launched their first car E6 in India in 2019. Upon receiving great response from fleet operators and private buyers, they are now all set to launch their second product – Atto 3. This has been finally revealed in India and the bookings are on now at Rs 50,000. Prices aren’t out yet, but we expect it to be launched over Rs 30 lacs. The claimed range is 521kms (ARAI-certified), but we expect it to offer a realistic range of around 400+.

I was riding a electric scooty in 2014-15 that was totally Chinese made.
And seriously the job they done was outstanding.
Mileage, weight loading, acceleration was excellent (as they were claiming).
I really miss those days.
I don't remember the company name exactly but that was awesome ev scooter at that time even if we compare it with 85% ev scooters available now.
So china is ahead in many aspects of ev's.
foolish to spend on a brand thats not well established .. better to for hyundai or kia even if they have subpar offers coz looks and features are not the only thing for a cary.. spare parts price , maintenance, logetivity, service station availability and quality of service all come into effect.. while this looks promising its gotta long way to go.. good luck trying to navigate burecary and corruption in our country to establish all other facilities requierd for such a brand to establish a footing.

interiors of nexon ev and xuv400 ev do not have that electric car feel. Same small infotainment and usual centre console etc. Hope this will give them some ideas for improvement
