This is cold weather camping and hiking in the Yellowstone Ecosystem. The camping is just outside of the park boundary because campfires or wood stoves are not allowed inside the park. The last hike on this video was on Dec. 29 in the Blacktail bear management area; I forgot to label it in the video.

Nice camp, great wildlife footage.
I love the quietness and scenery, so beautiful.😍
Great video, my friend! Great winter camp! Enjoyed watching, your and bushcraft skills are terrific! And the surrounding nature is amazing. Cheers from Russia, Stan, and welcome to my channel about special Russian bushcraft tips and hacks! Best Regards, Yuriy!
you are living a life i can but dream of. thank you for the amazing videos!
Don’t know why but the sound of absolute solitude terrifies me. Then add to that a grizzly bear … pee my pants!
Nice video
Stan Mills, you are so enjoyable to watch. Thank you for sharing your journeys with us.
That is the life! Awesome!
I just found your channel and am really enjoying it. If you don’t mind my asking, what kind of zoom lens are you using? Thanks for the videos!
I would suppose you enjoy these Solitude hikes and camping, but I could really enjoy being your neighbor and tagging along.
Thanks for your time and effort in capturing and sharing the Grandeur and beauty of the wildlife and beauty in the Yellowstone area.
🌲🔥❄️🔥🌲
thats amazing to me – you're being outside in this winter weather, I wish I could do it. Love Yellowstone – but not in the winter 🙂 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-DZXfO01W2w
Again, well done!
Hot spring? Wow
Hey Stan,
It’s been over 2 months since I left Yellowstone and I’m already starting to get the itch to come back already! I upgraded into a much bigger motorhome so I’m gonna be heading back there April 1st! I’m gonna be uploading some content from my Summer of 2020 in the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone very soon! Nice video Stan! Keep em coming! Gunner
I always like watching your video's, thanks for sharing !
Dear Stan Mills, I love the beautiful Yellowstone nature movies you make. Magnificent! Happy New Year Stan and stay safe! Greetings from Belgium (Europe).

Best channel on U tube
Do you use snow shoes?
Amazing video. Seems a lot colder than in Sweden 😊
Just found your channel and will subscribe. Great job showing the trail conditions, scenery, and wildlife (vs a talking head with annoying music!) I have hiked the Beartooth Plateau several times and did Sundance Pass outside of Red Lodge in 2019. Recently started my own hiking channel and will be taking notes from your channel – including how you share map information. Keep up the great work documenting a very beautiful place and maybe, if luck will permit, I'll get to meet you on the trail someday! Safe travels! Mark – McKinney, TX
You’re not a winter camper, you’re a total Outdoorsman! Thanks for showing what it was really like for John Coulter and his time in the wilderness was like. Thanks again, Beautiful!
Really cool, love this!
Pooping in a hole outside in the winter, no thanks
I love your content and your approach to the wilderness and your exploration of lesser known areas of Yellowstone. You have a calm approach to grizzly encounters, so I’m curious about your background. Are you retired park ranger or some other wildlife occupation? how did you develop this ease and how can we cultivate this ourselves?
Do the grrizzlys generally hibernate?
Thanks for taking us along. Happy New Year!
Had a great year watching your Vidoes Stan 💯

I wish I could be a part of this!
Hello, Stan,
