Holding the clutch for rwd helps as well to stop spinning, and I've used this method a lot for drifting, like when I'm done with a certain section and I wanna go straight and get a good fast entry on the next section then I hold the gas and go straight. Or if it gets out of hand, hold the clutch, it'll settle a bit

To keep control of your car, you need to steer

"steering wheel slowly"
Yes, but actually No – on GT class car you must be "active" on steering wheel

I've had a wheel for a little while, but I still have a hard time adjusting to it, and sim racing. What would you suggest or do you still offer to train people

Awesome content! I spend a lot of time watching and practicing… maybe we can schedule a race anytime. I have a question regarding the undriveable car: should I use anyone, like the one that I will use in the race, or, should I use only the oldies…as you did in the example?

Domenico Candela

Video interessante, complimenti!

I didn't knew i needed this video 'til i watched it

Ok… Is it me, or some cars actually lie to your intuition how fast they really are at the time? Cuz i can pretty much hit corners with precision of my speed without looking at the speedometer, when i'm with a lancer or miata, but everytime i'm getting to a corner with a Corvette c7, when i think i'm hitting it 40km/h i'm usually 80 or even 90… Is like, the car flat out lie to you!

15:50 try to censor the s-word better.

I thought controlling understeer meant no throttle no breaks, catch the oversteer direction by countersteering there, and when the car catches the oversteer you quickly steer straight…generally

Samuel Sägesser

When you get oversteer in a RWD car, the easiest thing to do (while countersteering) is push the clutch. Modulating the throttle is harder but you'll also learn the neutral throttle point by cornering in any high power car without TC (like CTR yellowbird, Assetto Corsa). If you're advanced, you can even convert the oversteer into a drift / powerslide and trail it off smoothly instead of snapping back in line. I practiced with the Shelby Cobra a lot, it helps with wrestling oversteering RWD cars. Also, I got myself to control oversteer by actually learning to drift, which helps tremendously with not being scared of going sideways and applying countersteering and throttle effectively.

Thanks for the tips Viper, you have amazing videos, i wish i could have a lesson with you, but i play on Xbox so…
BUT
all your advices are important for new Sim racers, like me, Great Video!!!

Hi Viperconcept. I want you to try to help me on something. Recently i had a TH8A and a T3PA for my steering wheel. I always try to train the heel-toe technique but i noticed something wrong. When I turn my ankle to the gas pedal for pressing it, i never press constantly my brake pedal, but when I see your videos it's always constant. Can you please explain me because I really want to train it. If you see this comment, thank you so much. L&R

Dumb question, what game is he using?? I'm at the FWD car and the graphics look different from Forza.
