omg my heart melted when your kid came in
14:12 my mans spitting knowledge listen up!
This its the tipe of video that i like a dude who's learning amechanic not the dude who have a big auto repair shop and know everything .
It's a good way to lose all your money because you have a repair that you're not willing to do it in the shop wants 1500 $
That's a $9,000 collectible car you're not gonna get that for 500
fake- head gasket blown use test n. see
Here in germany, we get lotsa rust on our older cars.
Learn how to weld, get any old bmw or merc for <1000 bucks, do some maintenance for 200, fix rust for 200 and sell for 3-5k.
Been doing that for a while, people are happy that they get nice cars for relatively cheap and i make some nice side cash.
I can’t believe you found one of those in such great condition and for $500!
Just subscribed. I really appreciate your straightforward and honest approach to your videos.
I'll give u 5 bucks for that shit bro we're do u find these lil box weird cars
Did you apply some assembly lube or squirt some engine oil on the cam before you put the valve cover on so you had some lube before starting the fresh head?
Doing it is the best way to learn. I've had 16 cars now and learnt soo much, I messed up timing on one and learnt that. Done clutches. Simple services rebuilt a gearbox. It's so rewarding and if they are cheap $500 cars then you don't have much to loss. Love the progress man
Not me thinking there's enough space in that engine bay for a bigger displacement engine swap.🗿🗿🗿🗿🗿🗿
You should open a workshop specialized in classic car restoration,i'm sure plenty of classic car enthusiast would come to you…Never give up & keep on the good work in it
And as soon as you let the pressure off the radiator it started running better. Watch for signs of excessive over heating, as if ti got too hot the block will get soft and you will strip the head bolts. Don't ask me how I know.
KEEP IT
Is this another mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm MONSTER TRUCK?
On what planet does a 1st Generation Accord sell for only 500.00?
I think you’re way smarter than me and my buddy and we did it in my garage a couple months ago on a Honda Civic I think it was a 92
I want this car
Any parts store or Amazon have what's called a block tester. It shows you if there is combustion gasses in the cooling system, "bad head gasket or cracked head will let gases in there." It's like 40 bucks and takes literally seconds to run a test on any car and you can use the same tester up to like ten times. It's a must have for anyone doing car flips because you can test it right then and there and see if it's worth buying the car or not. Look up on youtube how they work, it's a life saver I'm telling you!!
Doesn't help that the '82 2ng gen Accord motor, as fitted to that LATE '81 Prelude ( '82 model year), was still called an EK…. Even though intake & exhaust ports were swapped to spread heat loads, & the head-studs relocated.
Hay man I love your videos !
If possible, I would you be able to make a video where you could modify a car without spending a cent ?
Has it got a coke?
Nice
Its great to restore cars theres so much energy put into manufacturing a vehicle. Try removing a mitsubishi gdi intake manifold thats annoying so many connections egr lines etc.
Yeah you definitely don't need water mixing your oil to have a blown head gasket it could be blown from a cylinder to a water jacket which would cause your impression to leak into your radiator which would cuddle or problem your specific problem I'm glad that you figured it out my man keep up the good work I love your content
Video sux
Turning a $500 car into a $3000 car by spending $2500 on it
The Honda Accord
I do this too and I'm hoping one day this will be my full time gig.
did you explain how you are turning it from $500 to $3000? Are you just doing mechanical repairs? Do these cars hold that kind of value or is it all about that "one" customer who may be looking for the car?
God I love that Honda starter noise.
Good job man. That’s the type of vehicle I cut my teeth on back in the 90’s. It was a time warp seeing you work on that. I had a blue one just like it.
