Seeing as creative 2.0 is supposedly next season, and apparel also, maybe this is part of the new creator monetisation that sweeney was talking about.
You pay vbucks in an approved creator's map for an apparel item that you can keep in your locker and use to customise one of many base template skins that support apparel.
This makes a lot of sense because epic really cares about creator's as they make a lot of what players spend time in, and the current monetisation for creative maps is iffy at best.

So this season will end on December 3rd but the last full day of the season is December 2nd
