Dear friend, in this heavy rain condition, I would prefer to release overlapped entrance parts on both sides and stretch them towards (protruding) the front to prevent rain. You can even keep the entrance completely closed until the rain ends, stay safe and dry. Anyways, any kind of being in nature is enjoyable. Thanks for sharing. Mars is so cute.
