So sad to see this race track disappear. Why Bruton Smith & Nascar didn't try to save this track and build the lousy "cookie cutter" Texas Motor Speedway is beyond belief. This track would have been great for Nascar racing….
Tho we've never met, I have a friend that lives Nigeria that is having problems with his 2003 Honda. It's having electrical problems, along with transmission issues. He told me he got it from the auction. ( our worlds are so different). He told me that the majority of the autos come from the United States. I was intrigued , so ask him some more questions. I said, hey man if you buy a car from the auction that comes from the United States even if it looks clean you should check under the carpet for mud or dirt. He says yes they're all like that why. 😱 … He explained that these cars are the best that they can get. I'm not sure if I should send him this video or not. If he asks where do they store all of them, I'll tell him in the center of a racetrack, That would blow his mind! He is taught me to eat two slices of Humble Pie every day.

I don't know which is more sad. A track that once held NASCAR & USAC races is being redeveloped for housing or treating the track as a temporary storage for damaged hurricane vehicles.

Climate change is taking more lifes and causing more destruction every day during the summer. This just pisses me off, they ended up ruining Texas World Speedway doing this and it has to completely shut down. This place was a haven for amature racing and drag racing but now it's a graveyard.
My truck Is there. It only got 6 inches inside but it stunk after that. Insurance company said it would have electric problems for the rest of it's life.
One thing that caught my eye immediately — white, black, silver, gunmetal gray. The occasional aqua from the early 90's. Adventurous maroon. And the very occasional red and even rarer yellow. Did they pass a law saying that car colors had to be uniformly drab?
