If the lights or nothing at all comes on and it just clicks then it's the battery but if the lights and things come on inside your car and or the headlights come on then it's the alternator otherwise it might just be a battery and you should always have them check it when you get an oil change and have them check the battery to make sure the battery is still good okay all right have a Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year

LoL battery starter sounds dif also if u charge battery and your car starts then disconnect battery while running if it shuts off your alternate is bad if it keeps going then it was just battery

I had it happen to me it was the alternator it killed the battery too but the alternator probably went out
