I understand wanting to support your kid and what he wants to do, but the dad could have at least waited until the restaurant wasn't PACKED. They're in a plastic box on the ground between 2 giant, moving hunks of metal. It would take just one person getting a little overexcited while recording an instagram story to accidentally hit the accelerator and crush them both. Not to mention they're getting a face full of car exhaust. Its just insane people are willing to risk their lives and those of their loved ones for absolutely nothing.
For the interesting and fun moment that this videoclip is viral on social media, it's all cute n' cool. But in the USA (I don't live there), considering the slow top speed of this electric children's toy vehicle, and USA being USA, I'd not be so sure letting a child of mine drive that thing even in an American parking lot, let alone on the roads. Due to popular car & driving trends, often being something out of the ordinary, like doing some popular trendy dance move whilst driving, or driving in some out of the ordinary way due to a social media trend, i.e driving unsafely and thinking out of the box (which in this case is bad) , the box being following road-law & road-order and road safety by driving safely and according to law & order, considering those factors ruling over the USA and its frequent accident rates, I'd not let my child drive such a thing in such a place. These are real factors ruling over the USA, just look at the statistics.
Social media is not real life.
And the reason I commented this? For someone like me that is not trendy, doesn't fit into this comment section at all with my opinion of minority, among amusement-seeking commenters, this video is 15 seconds of wasted time for me. But after countless of times, launching the YouTube-app and the Shorts-page loaded with reality-twisting fantasy content like a kid and a dad driving a toy car at McDonalds in the world's most corrupt country, instantly spawning upon opening the app, when I want to watch something completely else, this is my protest not against any uploader or commenter, but against the algorithm-system structure that YouTube has decided to model, leading to it being the way it is.
Trendy content needs to be extraordinary in order to be trendy. Except for one, very common category of trendy content. "Wholesome content." A dad gifting her daughter a puppy, everyday restaurant business with delicious food, wood chopping, project timelapses (houses, sheds, cars, art, drawing, etc) . That, I like.
Just exercising my right in a public viral video with comments enabled, to give a comment, my personal opinion derived comment, on a YouTube video! Cheers.

I hope they just went through the window. I'm sure he doesn't have a driver's license and would hate for him to get a ticket. 😂
